EXCEPT...

The first two files seem to push us to keep pluggin at the DNA, 64 connection...I agree that the last ones seem to tell us to slow down but there are still unsolved puzzles from the beginning...

The Genetic Code

64.... like the 64 numbers in the grid? We need to find that second key hidden in the grid.

The Book of Fate is the key to many secrets.

From: Grimm McGritts

have you ever tried lookin to the book of fate for your answer?

Quote:
No one has used the key.

 poem and fibonacci numbers
the poem is a key

poem
the poem is a code in itself

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
my first post on my first arg but i think i can help you kids. if anyone has any tips for me please let me know. hope this goes in the right place.

the poem as in heaven so below....or the basic context of the poem is about the symmetry in the world and the heavens. this is based on the golden ratio...can be found in the spirals of seashells and shape of galaxies. e.g. in every seashell the spiral gets larger by the same multiple.

the golden ratio is 1.6180339887...

i'm not much on math or codes....m specialty would have to be religion and history.

and another thing...you may want to check out some real books by zecharia sitchen...i have read a couple...he talks about the ancient sumerians, mayans, and such. this may be a vital key to the story.

good playing....dont be afraid to hit me up.

upon further reaserch i found that the fibonacci numbers(the numbers listed on the myspace page under TV) are related to the golden ratio.

TO ALL THE CODEBREAKERS OUT THERE:
could possibly be the key to the mayan calendar or the 8x8 grid with the sums of 260 http://www.onereed.com/articles/fib.html please let me know if this is helpful

Played around with some binary conversions based on the even/odd properties of the numbers in the squares.
Doc's pushing us along those lines, if I'm understanding the hints, correctly.
If you use "zero" for all even numbers and "one" for all odd, the binary/ascii conversion on the first square produces, "2ÌÌ31ÌÌ3".
I'm not sure there's a way to break that down any further using the binary method (see the 2nd example, below), but it is interesting that the characters it produces are in such a tight, clean group (1, 2 and 3).
There may be something to that as it is something Doc could easily tweak in that puzzle.
Flipping the bits gives, "Í33ÌÎ33Ì". Which doesn't seem like anything.

For the 2nd square the conversion is "UUªªªªUU".
If you flip the bits, you get the opposite "ªªUUUUªª".
Taking that process a step further, you can break down the bits into either "<" or "Ã", depending on the 0/1 pattern used.
So, a bunch of nuthin'.

 language deciphered
possible link with language cipher

it's me again. i'm still not done reading through the blog but i have come upon something else that i may be able to help with. its been a while since i have read about it and i dont have my books with me right now but i think i may know who they are talking about in the translated texts...the hebrew one especially. REMEMBER: this may not be totally correct.

i believe it may be talking about the priory of sion. conspiracy theorists believe that they pretty much run things on a large scale from behind the scenes and that one of their aims is to create the "new world order". you guessed it: a single worldwide govt. They are believed to be the people actually running america and much of europe. it is believed that they are the ones responsible behind the european union.

the fact that this section is written in hebrew may have something to do with their origins. if i remember correctly the priory was created by bernard of clairvaux(i have no idea why they named that big ass dog after such a frail guy)....i think it may coincide with the creation of the knights templar which was created by bernard, andre de montbard, and hugh depayens. and everyone should know the connection between the crusades to take back the holy land and the templars.

before i write a damn book on here....i'll summarize the rest. Ol hugh and Andre find holy grail...tell bernard...form priory and templars...have large amout of influence and power ever since....both very secretive societies.

I will probably edit post more as i find out about the other ones.

3-1 no retreat

Binary hard!!!!

Ok, just joined. I think I read everything, but forgive me if I missed. Ok. What does the binary stuff mean? Math=bad, but I like history, so your gonna have to go slow on the numbers.

Dr. Joshua Ambergris's Interests

Under the 'General' category it has been updated to include:

I hate O'Hare airport. I love bees.

Also....

Sorry for the double post, but I was just wondering, don't you think we are ignoring the egyptian aspect of this? In the audio, it mentions ancient Maya and Egypt. On my Myspace, there is a picture of the Great Pyramid, beside the ancient Mayan ones. What are we missing?

I love bees. Hmmm. Throwback to one of the best ARGs ever. But I'm pretty new to the scene so I have no idea if O'Hare has the same sort of connotation.

We throw the B-word around here quite liberally when we should probably use ASCII, instead.
Binary is just another numbering system, based on two digits: zero and one. There is no two or any other greater numeral.
Humans think in base-10 or "digital". A system with ten digits: Zero through nine.
Electronic circuits are best tailored to the binary sysyem where there is either no voltage (a zero) or voltage (a one).
While computers can use these values, we humans can't interpret them without converting the binary values into something we're more familliar with. Without going into telegraph history, I'll just say that the most common system for this conversion is called ASCII.
There are 128 characters in the ASCII basic set (first seven binary bits or "7-bit ASCII") and another 128 in the extended set (By adding the eighth binary bit or "8-bit ASCII".
There are also 4-bit, 5-bit and 6-bit systems, but they aren't common in high-level computing.
The basic set contains pretty much anything easily typed on your keyboard (the type of characters you see in HTML, Logs and text files) while the extended set adds a lot of "gibberish" characters, used by "programs".
To help explain the conversion process let's go ahead and add "decimal" to the mix and use it as our rosetta stone. I really isn't necessary, though.
The assigned ASCII value (in decimal or "base-10") for the capital letter "A" is 65. The numeric value 65 in base-2 is "1000001".
Since you're not familliar with base-2, this is the place where your eyes are starting to glaze over. Stick with me, we're almost there.
In decimal, we count from zero to nine and only need one digit. When we go to ten, we need to add another digit of significance and start the least significant digit over at zero again.
And so it goes on: ones, tens hundreds, thousands, etc.
Welcome back to 2nd grade.
In base-2, we have ones, twos, fours, eights, sixteens, thirty twos, etc.
So to get 65, we need six "tens" and five "ones" in decimal or one "sixty four" and one "one" in "binary".
A decimal "2" is "10" in binary (One "two" and no "ones").
The last thing to note is that we always need to use a certain nmber of bits to complete a "byte". For what we see around here, that's almost always an eight-bit byte.
To create a full byte, we just add zeroes to the beginning of the binary value. "00000010" for our decimal "2" and "01000001" for our "65".
A chart of ASCII values in common number systems is Here (Doesn't show the "binary" values, but those are all over the net).
And if you want to just plug in a binary string and have a tool do the ASCII conversion for you, try this.

So close....

I came so close to understanding that. I think i'm just going to have to keep researching it. But I still want to know what everyone thinks about my "egypt" post. Don't you think we are over-looking it?
