What is most interesting is JJ Abram's supposed message debunking Ethan Haas. Abrams has not spoken to anyone about the movie or have given any interviews or news relating to it. To come out and give such a message means something...prob more than the fact that there could be more wbsites out there. Read between the lines.

Or they're relying on all the buzz around the trailer and viral aspects to help build interest, so it's worth JJ (or more likely his assistant) sending an email like that to AICN to stoke the coals.

Hi all first posting here,

Just wanted to say that the horse under the sea at the slusho.jp site could be considered as a 'sea horse' (as mentioned before but no-one seemed to pick up on it more) but in Japanese mythology i believe that sea horses were considered as baby dragons (and so could be linked to the oven mitt, as in 'too hot to handle' maybe?)

Let me know your thoughts.

According to the flash the "sea horse" is a donkey.

If so I wonder if that's why Abrams capitalized ASS in his missive to AICN?

*falls off stool from reaching too far*

Ow.

LOL. That's the funniest thing I heard today. Congrats. Made a slow work day tons better. Razz If that's why he did it I'll kick his ASS. Not his donkey either.

Hi everyone! I'm from Hong Kong and this is my first post here. Hope you guys can understand what I'm talking about because my English is really bad.

I've watched the trailer many times and i think that there is no more clues we can find out from the trailer.

I have also visited the "slusho" site. My opinion is we should find out the meaning of "slusho zoom". Certainly it is an important clue.

And about the cups at the bottom of the site. Will it be something like Morse code with empty cups as " - " and filled cups as " . "? I have tried the translator on the internet but what i can get are some meanings words. Maybe my combination of " - " and " . " is wrong. Have anyone thought of this?

I did a whois on badrobot.com:

Which look at the tumbnail. It matches:

http://www.tritonenterprises.net/

Now I did a little further testing and it looks like the thumbnails are just images of the website, for example do a whois lookup on microsoft.com. Anyway to further this...tritonenterprises.net was registered with godaddy, completely seperate from network solutions. So I doubt the pictures could just be 'place holders'. Coincidence?

Lots of websites have that default page. And you're posting about a website from the Ethan Haas game in the 1-18-08 thread.

Just hold on a sec, though.

Linking Bad Robot (Abrams' production company - same people who do LOST and Alias) to Triton Enterprises which, if my memory of a billion and a half pages of this thread serves, is somehow connected to EHWR - that could be a potential link. However, seeing as Bad Robot Productions doesn't have a website and nothing is showing a definite connection to Abrams yet... that would still be stretching it.

Seeing as it is still slightly off-topic, you can ignore this thought if it means nothing.

FYI: It's like a freaking jungle outside and I'm not willing to go brave the heat outside until the sun has at least gone down. It's about 1:30 right now and I'll be out around 7 or so to take a closer look at the two locations that I think the trailer might have been filmed at. Because of the lack of information for us to follow up on right now, a list of things for me to do while I'm out looking for the film spot would be a wonderful thing for everyone to help me compile really quickly, although I cannot imagine I'd need to be looking for very much, if anything at all.

First post.

Has anyone mentioned that 01-19-08.com is a website that is registered to GoDaddy and it says "Coming Soon"?

Yeah, it's probably best if we leave the donkey outta this.

And my point was that you didn't. You ignored the other part of what I said: Lots of websites have that default page.

Assuming

Right, if Slusho's not a derailer:

Results for 'glove'
English Japanese
glove guro-bu, tebukuro, gurabu, guro-vu

19th cup: something suspicious about the large cup on the home page?

I haven't looked into Morse code...maybe some other code, too? Did anyone menton Binary? The way they overlap and are placed is weird..

By the way, your English is fine. You speak it better than those that are native to it.

Going by my extensive Japanese knowledge (aka Google Translation), the kanji for Glove literally translate as "the hand sack".

Nothing springs to mind regarding "hand" "sack" and "cheese," however.

I see no 19th cup. There is the one large one (or if you prefer, the small "home" button on non-front pages), 9 in the lower left, and 8 in the lower right.

I also have a hard time believing Slusho wouldn't be part of it. It's clearly not a real product, and was on the guy's T-Shirt. I suppose it's possible it was just a joke in regards to Alias however, as was the T-Shirt.
