i really thought the robert penner thing might pan out to be something. i thought perhaps we had found "Rob"'s last name.

Robert Penner is the author of an ActionScript tutorial book. The site designers of Slusho.jp clearly nicked some of the code from his book to make their site.

tinag222, it seems like what youre saying suggests that the second picture was put on the page to point us in the direction of the guy with the slusho-shirt in the trailer? If so, what clue in the trailer would the first picture point us at, you think?

Someone said it sounded like Jensen. I just went to http://www.Jensen.com, and it looks like it's probably legit, but it is a 2007 website without much up.

I think focusing too much on the people at the party is likely a mistake.

Sea creature crawls out of New York Harbor. Starts blowing things up. What are the odds 20 drunks at a party with a videocamera are going to somehow have intimate knowlege of its origins or biology?

Like the protagonists in LOST, these guys are likely just along for the ride. What we learn about the creatures -- if anything -- will almost certainly come from outside exposition.

Focus on Slusho... The secret deep-sea based beverage with the penchant for freakish growh, and the notion of a parasite.

I am probably seeing things right now, but would someone who has an older static image of the Party Picture do a quick eyeball comparison between it and the version on the site right now?

I think that a couple things have changed.

Take a peek and let me know if you see anything that looks odd. If you do, post here and I'll tell you if you see what I saw.

(And if it hasn't changed, just pencil me in as the guy who's looked at that pic so long he's seeing things. But I did get a hugely strong impression that something was definitely different)

So someone mentioned that the sprite for the sea donkey was way larger than the other sprites. Is there a way to rip the sprite from the code to get a picture that we could zoom into? Maybe there is a tiny message hidden in the sprite?

Something has changed. I am no longer able to access the flash controls when right-clicking on the page.

No more zoom.

about the horse thing.
the bubbles themselves arnt clickable
the whole sprite of the horse is.
but you click it any it just shows the mit.
