Alright. Questions:

What currently are all the official in game websites connected with all this?

What are the ingame emails?

What are the ingame phone numbers?

To the best of my knowledge:

Sites
01-18-08.com
1-18-08.com
slusho.com
slusho.jp

EMails
satoshiSPLATslusho.jp
sk7087SPLATgmail.com

Ph. #s
81.5805681 - Uncertain as to validity. International number (Japan) and I don't think anyone has called yet.
1.3104504620 - Contact # for 01-18-08.com. I believe it's the weather report for Santa Monica Airport, that was originally named Clover Field.

The reason people keep heading towards the Cthulhu mythos is due to remnants of the clues we thought were connected to the Ethan Haas incident - the Ethan Haas games may well be related to Cthulhu, but there is no solid evidential basis for Cloverfield/Slusho being at all relative to the Cthulhu mythos.

I'm not thinking ethanhaas anymore. I'm thinking, it's alive, it's huge. It has the head of the statue of liberty which is off shore on the water. If this thing is coming from the water, then it could be Cthulhu.slusho, is connected, ans sea astir is connected to slusho, which is connected to a lovecraft story.Maybe it's nothing, but maybe it's something as well.

whois emails

i'm going to assume that the new emails registered for 1-18-08.com and slusho.jp were recently updated, so i encourage everyone to email hnryklvnSPLATyahoo.com and sk7087SPLATgmail.com to see if they get any clues back!

This thread is too messy, has too many pages, and I can't tell what's what.

Can we please get a new one? One with all the facts we know in it and the facts debunked? Maybe a timeline?

And we please stop with netspeak? (U, r, wat). Maybe I'm just pmsing but damn...

We aren't even sure about Sea Astir, which could also apparently be connected to Homer or Virgil - and also it isn't like JJ Abrams to remake other ideas, it's more in his style to write his own stories and make up his own characters.

The possibility that this is its own thing as opposed to being related to alread existing plots and characters is much more likely than the latter.

Music: I don't know the first song at all, but the second is Timbaland for sure (maybe a remix of Sexy Back), and the final song is a remix of WOMAN by Wolfmother. I kept reading that it was another song, but it is definitely a dance-y version of Woman.

After I started following this thread this morning I started listening to Wolfmother radio on Last.fm. I'm fairly sure the remixed version of Woman popped up in the playlist. If that's true it should appear in my recent track history for 10th July at some point in the next 12 hours or so.

This of course will have nothing to do with the arg, but it might help if anyone wants to track down who did that tune. Smile"

thanks TEAMONKEY and JFTERAN. I only point out the songs because they are obviously overdubbed. They may be heard at the party but not in the way that the trailer "plays" it. So it's something by someone, then THE WAY I ARE by timmy, and WOMAN (dance your lovecraft off mix). Probably nothing but JJ and crew love to use musical cues.

I'm in favor of a new thread, as well, considering in 80 pages we've only acheived like three sentences of notable gain.

If everyone agrees, I'l formulate a basic outline and post it as a new thread.

I second the nomination. It just sees everyone's posting the same crap because we don't know what other people said because the thread's too messy. Crying or Very sad

A Good Laugh

I'm sitting here getting my car's oil changed and reading this forum on their free wifi. it's pretty quiet here...and I've been glued to this thread since it exploded a few days ago.

Anyhow...as I'm reading...I started to think about that Futurerama show about Slurm and the addicting qualities...and the slugs...and started laughing so hard that the front desk clerk asked if I was ok.

I know it sounds stupid...but my brain is on overdrive on this one...I'm obviously going batty Smile

SLRUM ! You can't drink only 6!!

There's a summary thread that's pretty good already going. Basically, it has links to what we know, with a high degree of certainty, belongs to this ARG.

It's a good thread, linked a couple of pages back.
