Upside down L you say, could very well be a random cypher with those characters indicating space breaks, working on it now......

I don't think it's a random cypher either there aren't enough upside down Ls to make it work.

Did anybody try a simple substitution method? There's a lot of k's, w's, v's, y's q's.. these might be vowels?

Using the amazing powers of notepad, I have determined that what you refer to as an upside down L is in fact....
...an L (lower case though).

If you take out all the capital letters:
KYBVVKJTAIQBVD
Important? I think not!

Didn't someone say that the standee had a place for flyers? If so, do you think they could have some kind of decoder sheet on them, or a link to a site with one... - who has BEEN to the store and SEEN the glyph/standee?? Or who CAN go... we need a 100% verifiable, in-depth look at the location(s).
It would seem counter-intuitive to spread keys all over the US in those flyers with the first 100 keys entered being correct - it's too complex for them to pull off I'd say...

I really think we are going to need something from that kiosk to help decode this message. I am gonna call my nearest store and see if they have one of these kiosk with information in it. if they do I may make the trip.

if anybody is heading out to a store, reserve yourself a copy of Halo 3 and see if you get anything, over at args.bungie.org somebody posted photos what looks like promo stuff, I've no idea about times though here in the uk it is 1.40, maybe midnight openings for the hardcore fans to reserve a copy ?
