They are both hosted by GoDaddy, a massive virtual host for thousands of unrelated low-budget sites. I detailed this in the other unrelated thread.

 		So we're still going back to the Ethan Haas thing even though it was confirmed that it has no relation to 1-18.

 		It probably is smoke, but it drew my eye because it looks slightly more in-focus and a slightly different color than the rest of the smoke. Has anyone tried anything funky with the "parasite's" yell like playing it backwards, forwards, faster, or slower, or comparing it with other aquatic creatures' sounds?

 		OK, well, I know I'll get a lot of bashing on this, but I still think ethanhaaswasright.com is somehow related to this movie, the connections are too strong, not to mention Abrams did this last time when the "Lost Experience" was being wondered about, then when it was all over he finally admitted it saying "OF COURSE it was connected"

Oh well, I think we'll see on Aug. 1st. Also, I think Tritonenterprises is in-game if you ask me, the "King of the Sea" bit and the IPs are evidence of this. again, we'll have to wait and see with our next clue.

I don't think badrobot.com is officially JJ's production company website. I think it's a fan site. If tritonenterprises (which is associated with Ethan Haas, yes?) is a fan site, and they're trying to capitalize on the popularity of 1-18-08, it's not a stretch to think they also registered badrobot and threw up a quick placeholder image for the time being.

As the camera pans over to Rob and everyone else after the TV report there was just a odd picture in the back of the side room you can see that caught my eye. When I stopped the trailer it just looked like it was reaching out at someone.....Might just be my eyes and I doubt it means anything....but hey anything can be a hint right? XD

Not bashing but if you believe that the site is part of things then you have to believe that either Abrams or Harry Knowles (a guy who, as a journalist, has a lot riding on his reputation) flat-out lied to us.

I don't find that plausible.

You're talking about a yellowish picture that's partially behind the guy in the blue shirt, right before the dude wearing the Slusho shirt suggest going up to the roof, right?

Short answer is pretty much yes. As was posted earlier in this thread, the statue (and its head) is actually much smaller than people think. Approximately 10ft from ear to ear, 17 feet from chin to the top of the cranium. The face itself is only around 10 feet tall.

As the CAMERA basically cuts from the scene of the NY1 report to the crowd of people in the back of the screen is a picture hanging on the wall. It is asian style and looks like it is reaching out to Rob.

EDIT: YES BJR! the yellow picture in the back!

I don't think there's any indication there's a Biblical theme beyond a vague notion of the Apocalypse coming to NYC. I haven't seen any references to the Bible nor to Revelations to this point.
