Not to worry, man. I think we all get those ZOMG!!!1!! moments in these ARGs from time to time. Smile

Earlier today I thought the party pic had changed. I couldn't prove it but my gut said it had. It hadn't of course...so it happens.

Okay, this is a bit unconfirmed but here's what I noticed for me anyway. The photos only tick if you have dragged them to be off balance, meaning not straight. (try it for yourself just to be sure)

That being said, this investigation could be a bit of a red herring. Just a programming glitch that happens with the animation.

Me, I just keep wondering if there's a way to flip the pictures and see what's on the other side. Aah but I'm tired and it's beddy bye time. Mr. Sandman's pulling at my eyelids. So I'll see you folks tomorrow.

Again, I'm not all that programming savvy, but I could see this being the reason for the ticking.

It's possible, but I'm not sure.

About ten minutes ago, I put both photos on end "facing" each other - party pic on the left side and two women on the right so there was an empty strip between them.

The party pic hasn't moved a millimeter. The two women pic has rotated counterclockwise by roughly 35 degrees.
Playing around with it, it appears that it varies. You can't always get a picture to tick. This would presumably be due to the fact that you will sometimes give a picture a certian "momentum" such that the coding makes the image stop fully. Another reason could be that you let go of the mouse button drag after you've fully stopped the movement of the mouse, effectively "stopping" the image from moving on your own.

Could be. I really don't have an answer. I do know that I've not been able to make the party pic tick since your first post on the matter, though.

Doubt it means anything, but it's a cool effect the way you can fling the pictures around and they glide like they're on a cushion of air...kind of the way real photos do when you toss them on a table.

I think we have to concentrate on the 1-18-08 site instead of trying to break down the trailer. JJ has said that there are other sites but we have yet too find them. The clues to other sites are in the pics.

That's entirely possible. Absent any further clues, though, I think we've abot run the well dry.

And while I'm on that site, let me note that the photo ticking seems to have changed. The "Two Women" photo seems to tick now and the "Party Picture" doesn't. At least it hasn't for me this evening.[/quote]

Same here. It seems rather odd for coincidence. Can anyone check the code and see if it's been altered (again)?

Also, I made two large posts very early this morning and many probably missed them. But one point I would like to revisit is the "2004 ace" thing. It still looks like "2007 ace" to me. I'm adding a screencap for you to look again. Think about this: with how low the arm of the "7" is, that matches up with spray painting techniques. Most often, letters are close together and get distorted from "bridging" two or more subesuent letters together to save space. Also, look at how Maybe it's the art school, maybe it's over-analyzing but I think that was there intentionally. It's focused towards the center of the screen. It appears on screen about the same amount of time (a brief flicker) as the slusho! shirt, and folks found that.
I'm just saying I think this needs to be reviewed.

[EDIT]Just noticed this to further support this "2007ace" aclaim of mine. Was reviewing frame by frame, and got this screencap below, it shows the grafitti as definitely being diagonal, so the orientation of the "7", not the "4" would be correct.

Yep.

She really doesn't look right, though. There's something about her that just doesn't sit right with me.

The Rob/"hair demon" thing is freaky looking. Still not totally convinced that the hair thing isn't something that's actually there as opposed to just some illusion...

And Jimmie, totally agree about that woman. Creeps me out.

We are dealing with a "parasite" ... and with the Slusho stuff, possession doesn't seem out of the question. One reason I think that "hair demon"/Rob thing should be filed away for future reference...
