 		When some of you mentioned that the pictures on the 1-18-08 site began to pulsate after the window has been open for awhile, I decided to leave mine open to see what happens. After about forty minutes, I'm not seeing any pulsating, but the pictures have stopped ticking, and the one of Rob drinking is rocking back and forth very rapidly.

As someone who has messed around in Flash a lot, I think the ticking on the images is just an effect of the "physics" simulation they have- meaning the way they coded the ability to throw them and turn them. Especially when simulating momentum and friction, you can get phantom movement. I don't think it's significant, just a li'l buggy. Very Happy

 		Cheese mittens!
Someone mentioned the cheese and the mitten, so i googled around with that... Found out that there is a definition for a cheese mitten! lol


Cheese Mitten - any bloop hit, usually directed at the corner bases, first or third. Usually followed by "Can I get a ruling on that?", to which all players make the sign of the cheese mitten with the right hand...



But yea, that is odd why you have a mitten and cheese! I tried some google variations... But any thoughts on this...?

I've been letting the pictures 'run' so to speak in another browser window for an hour or so now...while they're still ticking...i HAVE noticed they've slowed down significantly....if it's buggy..then why is that the case?

Ive seen em go from ticking to creeping to the corners/edges, I am with the bug theory!

I don't think this is significant in terms of advancing us any but it's been nagging me. The creepy girl in the drinking picture, off to teh right with the demented look- what is in front of her? It looks like the picture was photshopped badly- as if either she was shopped in or something in between her and the guy in frotn of her was shopped out or something- its not right. Is that just a shadow between her and the guy in front of her?

Like I said I don;t think we'll get anywhere further in understandign from this but it really bothers me! Does anyone have any CONCLUSIONS? Has anyone looked at this to see what I mean?

This is conjecture, but...

The best, quickest way to cause that "friction" decrease in speed is to just divide the speed by a number like 1.001 each frame, gradually slowing it down. However, eventually the decimals get ridiculous, and actionscript gets funky at super long numbers, causing unpredictability, and since it's based on user input, very random results.

 		are you talking about the black that exists between where the guys head ends and where you begin to see her face? ive seen that too and either guys head is abnormally large or they designed it to cut off her face.
im leaning towards that second as we can only see half a face at most in both pictures, its suspicious to me

That sound highly probable. So then I have a question, does this mean that the first few minutes of ticking can be predicted and then after they go off into random patterns. Because in a different tab I have the picture overlapping also with the girls in the front first and the one of rob is ticking faster and the rotation seems to me circular, but then again that can not be determined until I get a lot more time to measure the range of movement and direction.

you know, I was thinking...there's a lot of references to the number 6 we've seen from the Slusho site...there's been the emails referencing "you can't drink just six" etc etc...plus it's in a bunch of places on the website.

Since Slusho is a reference to Episode 1x02 of Alias titled "so it begins" (which btw, the title..lol could it be more perfect for this ARG haha)..and the fictional organization that Sydney worked for was called..SD-6..do you guys think there's ANY correlation? Or is JJ Abrams just fascinated by the number '6' ??

That's it...it's 666...JJ Abrams is the Anti-christ and is using this film to enslave us all w/a form of mind control! lol haha just kidding

seriously..any SD-6/Alias connection other than Slusho?
