Is the same song on the trailer for this movie.

Is it really? I hadn't noticed.

Ok yes, we've found two people who worked on the movie. I don't think badgering them is going to accomplish anything.

Well since you arrived on this thread by way of the main rumors page, and then clicked that to pick a thread, you would've seen 2 others available - 1-18 REFERENCE and THE SLUSHO STORY and 1-18-08 PERSPECTIVE THREAD....you picked the one with a zillion pages then claim you don't wanna read it all.

Solution: close this thread, go back to the list and try one with less pages more suitable for your attention span....or interest level...or topic of interest. So far we have not managed to get a timeline, but the other threads, and this site here:

http://wellmissyourob.wordpress.com/

should catch you up. But one thing: if you're not willing to actually *read* the posts we've all put up here, it's kinda pointless dont ya think?

Danke for the link and all, but I am still trying to sift through everything. ITs just long going. I may have been a bit tactless in my first post but the damage is done. Also thanks for the fingers to the other pages. I'll give 'em a look see.

I was just hoping some light would shine and give me some clue on how over 1000 posts could be posted in just over a week.

Ah well. Danke once more for pointing me in some directions.

Maybe the reason why the building sizes, etc. on the maps aren't matching up with the trailers...because the clip we are watching is CGI, modeled by a digital effects company. They obviously can't make it all match up exactly. Give the guys a break. We're all thinking WAAAY to hard. (ie; the buildings are further apart in Google Maps then what we saw in the trailer!! OMGZZ!!! A CLUEDO!!!).... uhm, how about no???

maybe the reason the map doesn't make exact sense is because it's a MOVIE...not real life...

Don't have a cow about it. We are only throwing ideas around, and they're no more illegitimate than many of the other supposed clues we've been talking about.

ace - doubtful

I'm not outright telling you this is a dead end, but this has been covered pages ago...and hashing it out again is taking up more unnecessary space. Pages ago when it first came up, it was considered a planted in thing, clue, etc, that had some hidden meaning. It might but it's not likely given the established logical flow of what's come to the table, which has nothing whatsoever to do with graffitti.

There *is* an area in the trailer that is nothing but a huge graffitti wall (behind the wetbar). The one that is shown as they're running back to the stairs from the roof is unlikely to be a clue in and of itself, without ALSO tying into the graffitti wall somehow...which isn't likely.

It was pointed out pages back by someone who lives in the area that that was overlooked (by them) because it's so common around town there, it's a graffitti tag....it didn't seem suspect to them because they've seen it a bunch, and that one in particular apparently is for someone who does much graffitti work all over there...basically a sig is all that amounts to, and if you can see it for what it is, then you will see that it's not likely to have any relevance in the 1-18 OR the slusho story (so far). Nothing about either of these two seem to have much to do with that particular "artist" (or vandal, whichever way you look at graffitti).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Types_of_graffiti

Also, why are you guys focused on trying to figure out where "rob lives" - or whoever/wherever the party location is? It's clear in the trailer that whatever is down the street has thrown the SOL head at the 401 bldg...and the SOL is out in the harbor so obviously "it" brought the head to shore...

It was also covered pages ago (see about the 50s) that the area in question with the buildings is NOT there in reality and has been CGd in.

It's also not uncommon at all for location shots for one specific city to be actually filmed in another one, including LA - this was covered with the entry of the temperature being shown on the tv for NY and the question of is this normal for NY or did they actually film this scene or some of it in LA where they *were* filming for this flick, and it may have been an oversight. It's not at all unlikely that the interior shots for the party were filmed in Oklahoma or Oregon or LA, and the outside street scene filmed in Manhattan....it's a common occurance so finding the party spot is sort of a pointless mouse chance...and then what?

Consider this from a filmmaking/writing point of view. It has another name but I heard it originally posed as the Shotgun Theory and it kinda stuck. The gist of it is that there is a rule here that you *never* introduce anything into the story without also coming back at some point and USING it. In the case of the origin of this rule, there's a scene where a shotgun was presented and that's about all it amounted to. The idea was, the character had the shotgun for a reason...what the hell was it?

Don't know...hence the rule.

The case of the slusho logo worked inside the rule. The case of a graffiti tag does not apply since it's a sig and is basically common to the whole city, and whatever location they used was already there, likely complete with the graffiti....and 2004 was likely when the stuff was put on the walls. It has no relevance to *this* story...and thus breaks the rule, and isn't likely relevant to be following one way or the other.

You are forgetting that on certain projects the camera gives a false perspective/

Has anyone emailed Henry Kelvin? If no one has, I will. I just don't know what to say or ask.

Kelvin -..

Yes, several of us have sent emails to Kelvin as early as July 3d....and so far no response. For the record, it's probably not gonna get ya far to email Albert Pike, however if you got a reply I'm sure we'd ALL love to see it Razz

Donkey bubbles

I'm sorry if this has been covered already. But if you go to the Slusho site and zoom in as far as possible onto the seahorse-donkey and then do a screen cap of one of the bubbles, and then on your computer zoom into the screen cap it looks like the little turquoise lines are actually two lines of text in a very, very, very small font. There is some separation between them. I have no compute skills other than that, so I have no idea how to blow it up any further.

You'll note that the little turquoise lines that are on the donkey's bubbles (i.e. the reflection) are different than the lines on the other characters' bubbles too. Anyone willing to pursue this further?

This seems to jive with what people have been saying about the donkey being sized oddly in the programming.

A lot of them - I'd say 20% or so - are folks hasing over stuff that's already been hashed.

A lot of it is just us spinning our wheels or nibbling at the corners of things.

I'm working on aggregating stuff as fast as I can, but I'm one man with a dustbuster in a Gobi-sized sandbox. Wink

What should I say or ask? I am asking about New York Plate ABZ 3293. Should I ask about Ethan Haas or something?

Raito, this has nothing to do with the Haas thing. Go back to the forum index, and see the related links. There is also a condensed posting of the info so far for this particular path.

Plot Theories

Ok...I'm trying to help here....this is insane ;-p

I just started a thread on PLOT THEORIES - the thread to discuss and hash out and speculate on what you guys think this movies is about.

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=351439#351439

If you have thoughts on the matter or come up with some juicy theories please go *there* and post them instead of here so we can slow this thing down.

lol. Okay. It was a link on a website I went to, so I am a little confused. This is my first attempt at an ARG.
