I did register for texts on ABC, Mada & Latnok.
so FYI, yesterday I received this uninteresting txt msg:

from 44227
Dwnload Writers Roundtable a wkly pdcast frm KyleXY writers. Take U Bhind scenes + tell U real storys Bhind making of KyleXY. Go2 kylexy.com 2dwnld. STOP=optout

I can't actually find any such Writers Roundtable on the website though.

I did not receive any email or junk email from Valentine, or otherwise.

I'm happy to keep posting texts , if there is continued interest. let me know.

Re: texting?
FYI on other failed attempts to communicate with MadaCorp & Latnok

Incidently, I also 'submitted' a proposal to the Latnok Society's "Chataqua: The science of god's creation" call for papers to the email highlighted email, [chataqua@latnok.org]. (on homepage under 'news and announcements')

It came back days later with this message:
Quote:
Hi. This is the qmail-send program at yahoo.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

<chataqua>:
Sorry, I wasn't able to establish an SMTP connection. (#4.4.1) I'm not going to try again; this message has been in the queue too long.

followed by detailed header/tracking information and my original email.

I believe this to be a standard email SMTP error. please correct me if I'm wrong.

---
And I finally added a fake cover-letter and resume to my MadaCorp online 'application' in my profile.
But nothing happened.

I don't want to believe the efforts put in to make up content for these websites, with so many details that look like pieces to a puzzle, don't actually mean anything.
The lack of useful response from [chataqua@latnok.org] was disappointing. :(

cluetracker items
Reflections/Observations of cluetracker items

Warehouse blueprint on desk:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The back of the 'warehouse blueprint' on the desk has an imprint of one of the blueprints on the bulletin board. You can see this while it's still rolled up while at the 'water glass' scene.

Erased words: i.e. 'AREA' appears in bottom left (potentially preceeded by another word ending in 'S') and upper left. There is an obvious 'R' at upper right near a blood stain with other undecpherable letters preceeding.

Errased walls: especially noticable in upper right corner outside the building, near the word 'AREA'.

Blueprints on bulletin board:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The three blueprints all have an identical white dot 'V'-shaped pattern at the lower right.

The blueprints appear to resemble the geometry of the gestation tanks at Zzyzx. (Obvious)

Photos in Adam Baylin's files:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
I found one of the photos in Adam Baylin's files on the web. Search for 2cellhum.jpg which is credited to Dr Sheila J. DiMarzo about In Vitro Fertilization. The picture is of an egg just fertilized, just as the two sets of DNA have met and get ready for the first cell division.

Letter at top of Climbing Wall
Any chance this is morse code, short lines=dot, long crossouts=dash?

Obervations of Latnok Society Details

(Note: I did post part of this on another website, in case you think you've seen it before.)

I was contemplating the symbols on latnok's 'tests' page.
I can't figure out the relevance, but it was an interesting exercise.

The symbol meanings can be found by browsing the groups at www.symbols.com/encyclopedia/14/index.html, but the symbols have multiplle meanings and history.

Concentration
= 3 squiggles
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
= river/stream,
or steam, liquids becoming gases,
or potential power/strength

Coordination

= moon

Memory
= clockwise spiral
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
= sun
also water, power, independent movement
http://thumb17.webshots.net/t/30/466/6/16/38/2739616380028179897vyyAsV_th.jpg

IQ Test or Stats

.....
Also, I thought the shape of the graphics for the 'tests' page resembles one of the items on the blueprint in cluetracker: lower right blueprint, second rectangle from the right, especially. But maybe not.

The emails of course are fake. Madacorp and the Latnok society or sites hosted by ABC. You can check at the bottom of the site where you can see the copyright info. Whois Lookup reveals the same thing. The emails posted are probably fake and this is why you are getting the smtp error. These sites are created only to provide insight and are not really authentic.

You're going somewhere with the cluetracker items. I overlooked some of that.

MadaCorp Projects

Anyone had anythoughts on the MadaCorp projects list?
The global locations seem like they should be significant to something.

On the MadaCorp homepage, there is a yellow/gold blank map
>> MadaCorp ProjectMap.jpg <<
which has been deliberately called, 'project map' and not just dropped there like a generic web graphic.

Then theres the project list page with specific cities/countries, associated with categories.

So far, all I've tried is plotting the locations up on GoogleEarth. Once again, I don't know what to make of it. maybe there's nothing to make of it.

*** if the JPG links give a 403, try refresh. that seems to work--sorry, don't know why yet.

EDIT: I was going to tinyurl the links to prevent them from stretching the forum so wide, but they all yield a 403 Forbidden error for me, so I've just broken them up a little. If you can replace them/get them to work, and they are just as long, please use tinyurl.com to transform them into URLs of more managable size. Thanks. -xnbomb

EDIT 2: Okay, they sometimes work, and sometimes give 403s. Tinyurled for your convenience and forum-width maintaining. Cheers. -xnbomb

There were geographical coordinates given in season 1 I believe, to one of the project map locations (Seattle). This was the place where the xyxyx headquarters was apparently located. As for the other locations, I am clueless.

Links from above post need to be revised*

Hope I've not written too much!
This looked like a forum more dedicated to the game going with this show, which I've been looking for.

Sorry for bombarding this list with everything all at once.
I'm eager to not be trying to 'play' this thing by myself. I've been pondering this stuff for weeks but only just getting around to writing it up.

I just don't want to be believe the show's writers put all these details into the show and the websites and blogs and texts for only the purpose of having us click on a few items now and then in a flashplayer scheme in order to speculate on what we already know is about to happen in the next or previous episode.

One of the trailer previews to Season 2 said something like, "Zzyzx/Madacorp is much bigger than you think," or something.
I am speculating that the clues are meant to enlighten us about the bigger picture.

I hope I'm not trying to see things that aren't really there.
Red=Red Herring, perhaps? :)

Please tell me if these posts need to be shorter. I haven't much experience with social web forums, and I confess to not having read all of the rules yet.

I have two more 'observations' type posts still to make, if that's alright.
and I fixed the links. (thnx)

(and I'll delete this tomorrow, since it's not actually relevant to the arg)

Welcome, MysterySage, you are in the right place. Smile Don't apologize for being enthusiastic, you're doing fine. We just needed to fix the links you provided so they didn't break the forum width.

They have been teasing us with lots of detail, but it's been hard to see if it's going somewhere or is just "atmosphere". I hope you will stick around and help us figure it out.

After each show, the announcer always says "have you found all the clues?" implying to me that there is also stuff in the show we should be picking out.

Last season we had someone set up a webpage with all the clues and information we were given each week, but it's been taken down. Maybe it would be useful to do that again this season?

Gupfee is right indeed. Don't be reluctant to post Mysterysage. The more clues we have, the better. They are meant to enlighten us. This is a discussion forum. Don't worry about the limitations. Everyone is welcome to inform here.

The clue tracker is very helpful with deciphering the mystery behind the show. You are also welcome to post information here about the show however. Check out the last Trailhead for season 1 here- http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=15689&start=405

Thanks for the hospitality.

still catching up... Not very important but amusing, it looks to me that on on Kyle's DCF case file (1.02), it appears to have his age listed as '23', which I think was Matt Dallas' real age when that show was filmed.
(the box that says 23 may not be 'age', but sure looked like it to me.)

Screenshot from Season 1 episode 2. I think Foss was looking at it.

Are the image links working for you yet?
