Ganu

I've been following these threads, but I don't think I have seen this mentioned yet. This sounds like a Huuuuuge stretch to me, but I thought I would throw it out here anyway.

Cymanfa Ganu is a welsh festival. As in a festival from Wales.

Ganu on the Slusho site is the son of the smallest Whale.

The festival also begins on a Thursday night and then lasts through the weekend, and the party at Robs starts on a Thursday night as well.

Like I said, I am 95% sure that this is not related at all, but since we haven't been able to find very much info about Ganu I thought I would mention it. =]

ETA: It really probably is not related. I forgot to mention that is a music festival where they sing hymn type songs. So I don't really see the connection, unless the next clue has to do with Wales in general.

I got a burning queston.

What's yall's take on Slusho! Zoom!

Obvious choice: instructions. In the thread of doom, Al said something about zooming in on the donkey bubble and it looks like there's text there.

Other than zoom as in zoom in....what other context could it be?

My trusty MSPaint shows no discernable patterns. It is odd that the donkey's bubbles are different then all the others, but there's nothing there,

Hey, i just thought I'd mention-

Everyone's been calling it a 'blowfish', you know, the thing on the first page, and I was wondering if that was in the coding.

Cause it looks alot like a cartoonish whale caricature to me.

Yeah, I found the same thing. Just two little blue lines no matter how far you zoom in.

Slusho! Cups Curiosity

From the thread of doom:

ok i've read threw this WHOLE topic and i didn't see this get mentioned.

when you zoom in a certain number of times on the slusho site, some of the cups at the bottom of the site surrounding the "you cant drink just 6." are colored diffrently. this is probably nothing but i just thought maybe i should point this out, because someone converted them into a sort of morse code and maybe the darker ones are the more important ones in the possible code.

just a thought

It took me a couple times to figure out what you were referring to - I was looking in the wrong spot and then I got what you were pointing to.

And you are absolutely right, the are different....

For the rest - the white area on the center cup - on some of them it's a little darker, while the others are white....

Hmmm

Screen shots below, hopefully they wont be huge.

The guy who paid a bundle to buy the site to throw us off the trail now realizes we're onto him (despite his posting over and over again at this and other sites trying to get us to look at it) and is pissed that he wasted his money on something no one is really paying attention to.

Recommendation, dude: throw some ads up to try to recoup some of your investment before the hype ends.

Nooopppeee.....check the date again. 12:01A is one minute after midnight into the 18th and for Jan 18 in 2008, that makes it Friday.

Party started Thursday night - 17th....and cleared the midnight hour into the 18th

I'm seeing them all are a kind of grey, even in your screenshots.

I wonder, though, why everything along the bottom of the screen pixellates as you zoom in, but the rest of the screen doesn't. I would expect that if the bottom "strip" was an image file and the rest wasn't, but according to the source code, that's not the case. It's one big flash file.

SLUSHO!
You Can't Drink Just Six!

My friend (Dan) noticed something while looking at the Slusho! history page. He's the man.

There are six creatures swimming under water (minus the children). Two regular fish, one bigger fish, one donkey, one crab, and one jelly-fish looking thing. That adds to the list of sixes we find involved in the Slusho! game. Not to mention the obvious six letters in Slusho! itself.

Dan sucks.

Edit!

Now both pictures are ticking in the same direction! I know this isn't the 1-18-08 thread, but suck it.

Both of those things have been mentioned, but I'm not sure if it was this tread or the other one.
