That's not an in-game number, it's a host and/or registrar support number.

Meanwhile how did I miss this?

I went from here

http://cloverfieldclues.blogspot.com/2007/07/end-of-times.html

to here

http://www.ffxiresource.com/devel/ethanhaas/

and as I agree here

http://omgwtfehwr.blogspot.com/2007/07/pretty-much-clinched-ehwr-is-pr-for-rpg.html

I think it's a done deal: EHWR is promotion for a forthcoming RPG from Mind Storm Games.

 I Missed a link here

Who is Red Interactive? WHOIS shows MediaTemple.net. Did I miss something here?

Also, I don't dismiss your claims I can definitely see your point and lean towards agreeing, but there is no In Game Link (making a huge assumption it is more than just PR). But since it involves multiple websites, lets assume game.

Red made EHWR. It's right there on their website as one of their projects, under News, because it won an award.

Red's website is very impressive ... as is the list of clients. And while it seems almost certain now this is about Alpha Omega, I wonder if that's all its about. I mean, look at Red's feature products. They are almost all TV and movie promos.

Also, how the hell did we find this Red Interactive anyway? I'm not trying to argue that they aren't the brains behind it all, that seems very clear. What I don't quite get is before today, there was no mention of them. Now, *poof* there they are. Anyone know how we came to it?

Edit : I read your blog bix. Did you track down Red through that poster over at the Xbox forums?

No, I ran across someone who I think found EHWR listed on some web award site and therefore found that RED made it.

attention span radars issues
slow moving things

If EHWR, et al don't keep moving they are going to peter out... they'll loose the attention of al but the most didicated. Seriously if we have to wait another 2.5 weks for anything new to happen who will still be around? I know I haven't even bothered to check this thread but once in the last couple of days. I liked the premis but its loosing me here...

Perhaps that's the point? Who knows.

I agree they need to do something to keep the attention of people who've already cleared the puzzles. If they started seeding this game in late June, why they would think they need 5 weeks to recruit people to play is a little odd. Even if you forget all about EHWR, at least you've got the email reminder coming to you, right?

Maybe now that the link between EHWR and Alpha Omega has been established, they're trying to decide what to do. Heh.

I agree.
I think the e-mail reminder (if you signed up on the DIVINUS page) will get most people back, just to see what's new.

I do have the reminder set up, and its a good thing- lots of people are going to need that in two weks- we'll see if I'm still interested in returning- my mind might have wandered far and wide by then... I doubt I will bother checking the forum before August 1st unless I see a post surge. Best wishes all- I'll be over at 1-18-08 which seems to be moving slowly but at least its still moving...
