And then the characters it lists afterwards, Bravo etc, correspond to letters and numbers, and that when you enter that ip/****** where the *'s are the 6 mentioned letters/numbers, it took you to the site that generated the keys to unlock the server.

I thought it was way cool, but I wish there were some kiosks in major Canadian cities, and that it didn't get solved so damn fast. I was barely able to keep up with what had happened, let alone help it along. Ah well, it's still a blast.

I'm hoping at least one server is more Europe-friendly time wise.

I went to my Rogers store hoping they still had the 360 kiosk up, but they'd rotated it for a PS3 kiosk... dagnabbit. What would make them do such a thing? Razz

It was solved way to fast I agree. I went to a Best Buy, and got home and the server was open. :/

Yeah, same here. Still, it was nice to find it. Got to the Circuit City in Gulfport last night, found the video, and laughed that at least I found something ARG related in the real world.

First ARG I'm participating in full-time. Guess I'll have to wait a couple weeks for another shot. Gotta keep me posted, guys! Ah, just messing.

It's frustrating as hell. I was home all day waiting for the 4th call to go up and monitoring the forums. I leave for a few hours to attend class and I come home and it's all over. It's almost the exact same thing that happened to me with server 1. Sad

Almost the same thing happened to me. I was in front of my computer the entire day just watching for E3 info and the server update. At about 10 my sister had some "great news" she had to tell me. At about 11 when I turn around to check the updates (keep in mind I was sitting in front of the PC the whole time she was talking) the server was already unlocked. Evil or Very Mad

Next time I suspect a big event is going to go down, I'm locking myself in the office, putting on the headphones, and screaming "LA LA LA LA I CAN'T HEEAAARR YOOOUUUU!!" anytime someone walks into the room. Twisted Evil

I feel bad for you guys with the birthday error, I had it too but when it became apparent that something was going down later, I went to the sever page early, got the prompt for Live settings, then the birthday error which was already set correctly, back to the sever page and I got what I think was called Halo Iris module 1 page, which was a sign up page, filled in my details again and there was a link which said back to the forerunner site. 15 keys left when I entered mine Smile

I suck at the security code. My personal record is botching it four times in a row. Either I really suck or server load was keeping it from authenticating correctly.

The video was nothing special. Just the starry night trailer with the cipher quote inserted.
