Another clue led us to look at the General Star Catalog. Using the hex numbers for the colors in the source code as catalog lookup numbers, you get:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Pegasus, Leo Minor, Virgo, Crater, Andromeda, Cetus and Cetus


Which opens primus and leads to the next puzzle, same type of lock only not stars this time.

How the method for each set was found:

The numbers for each color block were the key. In the code, by the submit boxes, there was a clue as to what would be needed. That plus the page title pointed us to the objects.

The first set of answers, helium and hydrogen:

The second set, inspiration and perspiration:
