Now here's a question. Why didn't they make it 718hz? 7+1+8=16 1+6=7
that would have been like them, but that's not what happened.

If it "kinda reminds" you of something that might or might not be ARG related, its probably not.

hey is it significant that the file never goes higher than 5 hz nor past 5 seconds?
also try lowering the DB leverl to -150, you get a clear image plus some more of the pic!

played around with the spectrogram and did some
photoshopping
corelling, and worked this up...
note the left channel (red) starts earlier, and the right channel (blue) continues longer. Used a logarythmic scale, so the lower waves are emphasized, thus showing more of what wasn't seen before.
Pretty cool pic anyhow... could make a good desktop image
The image is pretty much a range up to 5100hz
ETA: I'm fully confident it's the earth in the center of the symbol

(sorry for double post)
also, based on the warping of the symbol, I played around like it's a spherical map... so I experimented a bit. is for fun...
And, should probably note, there is definitely an object on a spoke the first to the right of 12 o'clock. I'm thinking it's the moon, which again indicates this is a form of lunar cycle clock.

I traced the glyph:
(It does look like Earth in the center O.o)

There must be some significance here, because I've never known Bungie to like the number eight--and that's how many spokes this has. If they had just made up a glyph arbitrarily it would have almost certainly have had seven spokes.

I must admit I was extremely skeptical that the center was the Earth when someone mentioned it yesterday, but looking at Bruce's modified pics has changed my mind completely. That is SO Africa, Europe, and Asia, and the inside circle on the spoke to the right of 12 o'clock is definitely not empty as the others seem to be. As Bruce suggested, if the Earth is in the center, it would make sense if this object was the moon. It would also further support the (fairly strong) theories that the glyph is a representation of some kind of lunar clock.
So very intriguing.
