 		The "It's alive" comment
I think the main reason why he's suprised it'd be alive is because he, and a lot of other people, assumed it was a bomb or something.

Think about it: You see an explosion in the real world, you don't assume a giant monster caused it. He, and lots of other people in the crowd, probably figured it was terrorists.

Plus, we all know the monster is Voltron. Razz

the guy (assuming its a guy) center left, behind the dumpy looking woman, he seems (or appears to me) to be standing facing the direction these people are coming from and by the sillouhette of his arms it looks like he might be standing there with his arms raised holding a video cam corder to his face...

If you were just going to post a few production stills it'd be a neat thing to post a site with one photo. Then add another. Then add another. And so on.

Why post them in this fashion - in a flash file where you could move and rotate the photos? That seems like an inordinate amount of work simply just to show off some appetite-whetting pictures.


I don't know. I mean, I think I've heard that the film is someone peicing together what happened after the event. Although that's just rumor. Do you have any ideas?

 		So.. what we know is that it goes from an explosion around midnight, to OMFG ITS ALIVE!!! at about 10 after.. to the two girls staring up in awe at 38 after.. to what seems like people wandering aimlessly in a smoke filled city at 12:48.
I think i'd still be freaking out 48 minutes later if I saw a huge monster tearing NYC a new asshole.

It just seems like a large range of emotions to cycle through in such a short period of time after something of monumental destruction happens.

 		We don't know who those people are, what they've seen, or what their physical condition is. they're in heavy smoke, they probably can't see shit, and they have their hands over their mouths. What do you want them to be doing?

Actually, the explosion occurs sometime after 12:32.

it's speculation, what we've been doing this entire time. If we're going to pick everything else apart, might as well do the same and examine all the options with this picture as well.
It's kind of like saying that Rob didn't look happy from the first picture, we don't know that for sure- but it's good to explore the options.

They could have been running, collapsing, crying..
