So.. what we know is that it goes from an explosion around midnight, to OMFG ITS ALIVE!!! at about 10 after.. to the two girls staring up in awe at 38 after.. to what seems like people wandering aimlessly in a smoke filled city at 12:48.
I think i'd still be freaking out 48 minutes later if I saw a huge monster tearing NYC a new asshole.

It just seems like a large range of emotions to cycle through in such a short period of time after something of monumental destruction happens.

Actually, the explosion occurs sometime after 12:32.

oohhhh details.
my point was that it happened quick.

Actually something just clicked....the guy on the very left is running....now, why is it that the two chicks on the right seem a little bit too calm and it looks almost if they're moving casually.

Maybe they're just having trouble breathing and can't see where they're going.

I can think of a number of reasons:

they can't see anything (they're covering their mouths/noses, probably because the smoke is so thick they can't breathe), they may have already ran for miles, the 'attack' stopped, or the monster was killed..

it's a curious question but no way to be definite about the answer.

I'm sure they could be...
but what difference would that make if they are or aren't?

Contrasted in photoshop so you can see things a bit more clearly, looks like the one guy in the back is holding something? (could be just covering his face like the others though.)

It doesnt seem like there's much to go by in this picture. The women dont look like they were apart of the party or anything like that

2 theorys
1)The people in the smoke are clearing out of an area and have only just got to somewhere where the air is clear enough to see, the guy running looks like he is slowing down.
2)The "Parasite" releases a smoke that can turn people into zombie like creatures that capture prey for their master. The man running isnt affected for some reason and is running for his life as people around him are turning.

it probably means nothing (and i'm not that kind of flash-expert), but is it coincidence that the new pic is placed over the first, and then the second on the site?

so you have atm the smokey pic (12.4Cool, then the party pic (12.01) and then the scary pic (12.36). and no matter how much you refresh, it keeps this way.

I think he's just kind of typing whatever happens to wander through his mind.

"Could they be Japanese... ? Man, I could go for a BLT right now. Wonder if the game's on yet."

It's the order in which the pictures have been posted on the site.

pic_1 girls faces
pic_2 party
pic_3 smoke

I notice that if you put the pictures in chronological order, the timeframe between them is getting shorter. I'll need at least one more picture to be sure, but the time between the "party" pic and the "scared" pic is 35 minutes. The time between the "scared" pic and the "smoke" pic is only 12 minutes. Of course this pattern may not continue, but I'm interested to see the timestamp on the next one.

The third picture could've been taken the morning of 9/11, and no one would be able to tell the difference. Dust, debris, smoke & haze.

What do I find interesting? You'd think an event of this magnitude would have an effect on the power grid.

Why are things so bright?

Ehh what does 9/11 have to do with this?

Must we link every movie involving new york to 9/11 now? lol
