Interesting....actually a couple interesting things.

If the intent of the site was to promote the suspense and scariness of a monster movie, the party pic is way out of place.

The photos aren't posted in time order either, something you'd expect if the intent is to "tell the story".

Only one photo falls inside the events of the trailer, but not in a way that gives any congruity to the story. You might expect a picture before or at the very beginning of the trailer, then the trailer, then the two other pictures.

It looks - and I'm just speculating here - like we're being pointed toward a thing or two but I can't see what.


Knowledge accepted. I didnt know the pics weren't posted in chrono-order. I didnt visit the 1-18 site until there were already two pics. Maybe there's something to that. Guess I'm getting to aggrevated to see any connection. I doesn't help that there are all these strange coincidences that lead to dead ends. Like the clover blog. We'll see what happens. Patience is a vurtue. Or so I hear...I walked out on my mother mid sentence.

Okay, I'll try to describe it a different way: Pretend you're in the middle of a big billowing cloud in an airplane. The cloud may look white from the outside, since all of the light is being reflected outward. But, if your pilot for some reason flies inside of a cloud, everything gets really dark. It's the same for any amount of heavy particulate in the air - if you can't see very far into it, it's going to block most of the light from passing through it, making it darker. The only reason it looks light is because light strikes it.


remember, this is a movie. you can't film anything very effectively inside a cloud of smoke.

hence the filming lights striking the cloud the people are coming out of. the cloud reflects much of the light directing it toward the camera making it appear brighter. Kayberry is essentially right on the nose here.

 		I think the "could they be japanese" comment was a take on what if the scene is taking place in japan at around the same time it' is taken place in new york or another monster creature or something. my take on the comment.

Or remember how well you could see driving through a fogbank or a snowstorm with your high-beams on. The particles diffuse and reflect the light, brightening the area, but reducing the range of the beam.

 		Hi first post, and yes I read all of the 144 pages Wink .

I have to say that the pictures on 1-18-08 are really reminding me of the glyph hunt portion of The Lost Experience, in that I think at some point we just put them in order. Simple, yeah sure it is, but also makes sense...in a non-clue-finding way.

The other thing I want to point out is that on Slusho, in the download section, there is an AIM icon. I know this is not the Slusho section, and I may post there too, but TLE used AIM (well at least the Verizon part of it did) so I am thinking maybe start adding some names from the Slusho site to AIM and see if anyone comes online with some sort of clue?

I just sent an IM to SlushoZoom, no response yet, but apparently it is an actual AIM screenname. Try sending it more keywords from the Slusho site?

If i recall, there is a search function through which you enter an email address and it kicks out an AOL screen name. (could be wrong, it's been a while)

Try plugging in that Satoshi email addy and see what comes back.

 		I have tried all of the key names from Slusho, but AIM is odd in that it might be all one word. If you have AIM you can search for screen names using the view profile feature. Currently I have:
Ganu (not online)
Noriko Yoshida (not online)
Slusho (not online)
Satoshi (not online)

Anything else?
