At the moment, no. But just hang on to it, you never know if well need it again or not.

I've been present for both servers and gotten the error both times...

Firefox, OSX Tiger, Gmail.

Windows XP
IE7 & Firefox 2.0
Hotmail account + Xbox Live account together
All information was filled in on my hotmail account, including DOB.

The weird thing is, I had to clear the cache THREE times before it would understand my DOB was there. Oddly, when I finally "registered" it asked me to fill in my address information. The weirdest part? It was my OLD address from over two years ago, even though my hotmail was showing my correct information and so was my Xbox Live account. I don't know WHERE it's getting that information from.

P.S. I didn't get a key or anything, it just asked me to register for some reason.

Here is a reply I got from the windows live ID support people.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To help you resolve your issue I have listed some suggestions:

1. Clear the computer cache and delete unnecessary cookies before you sign in again.

Temporary Internet files store the information that your computer exchanges with the Web sites that you visit. These files facilitate the communication between your computer and the Web sites. As time passes, these files become cluttered and can adversely affect the communication.

For Windows Internet Explorer 7

a. On the General tab, in the Browsing history section, click Delete, and then click OK.
b. In the Cookies section, click Delete cookies, and then click Yes.
c. In the Delete Browsing History window, click Delete Files, and then click Yes.
d. Click Close to close the Delete Browsing History window.

2. Reconfigure your security settings.

When Internet Explorer security settings are set to High, you may have an issue with accessing Windows Live sites.

a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
b. Click the Security tab.
c. Move the Security Level slider to Medium.
d. Click OK.

3. Enable your browser to accept third-party cookies.

When you sign in to a Web site or to a service on Windows Live, a cookie is stored on your computer. A cookie is a small text file that is created by a Web site to retain customized information, such as your preferences for use at that site. Windows Live can also use cookies to help you sign in. You can configure Internet Explorer to have Windows Live ID store a cookie on your computer to remember your e-mail address and enter it in the User name box automatically every time that you are prompted to sign in to a Windows Live Web site.

a. On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
b. Click the Privacy tab.
c. Under Settings, click Advanced.
d. Select the Override automatic cookie handling check box.
e. Under Third-party Cookies, select Accept.
f. Click OK.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For some I think the browser caache problem worked before. in my case it did not so I checked my other settings described and I had the acceptance of cookies not set and I believe this may have affected my ability to retain good information for the web site.

So for all of us who experienced the problems here's some things to try for ie7, for other browsers your on your own.

too bad we can't test this before the next server unlocks.
