It's possible.

But if he lies about it, he loses a ton of credibility and we smashmouth him pretty bad. Better to throw up a big delay than something like that.

This is probably SOOO not related but I found the Dateline at the top to be ironic!

It does say January 17th is a historically bad earthquake day!

new

Hey guys. so i just joined having only heard of ARD's today after reading an issue of Game Informer.

I stumbled on this through a various path of websites. I read up to page 38 non stop and my brain started to hurt (I could swear I smelled smoke)

I would love to join in on this, and I am curious what has transpired between page 38 and page 152.

 Anagram for Slusho Site
Thiking that the slusho site holds a key to another address

Hi Guys, I'm new to all things ARG, this trailer has just peaked my interest which as led me here.

Possible idea, the phrase "You cant drink just six" is always on the bottom of the slusho site, ver prominent.

I thought this could possibly be an anagram, my suspicions grew stronger after realizing "DOT" could be part of the letters.

The next step I took was to find out what the valid domain suffixes would be after taking the D,O,T out of the letters, I came up with the following valid suffixes : "ac,ai,an,ar,as,at,au,ca,ci,ck,cn,cr,cs,cu,cx,cy,in,int,ir,is,it,ki,kn,kr,ky,
na,nc,ni,nr,nt,nu,ru,sa,sc,si,sj,sk,sn,sr,st,su,sy,tc,tj,tk,tn,tr,ua,uk,us,uy,yt,yu "

Next, wanting to narrow down that list, I went to go daddy, to find out which domains you can purchase publicly (on a hunch that they would be registered there much like slusho). This narrows the possible domain list down to only : "us,at,cn,nu,tc"

Next, I mapped out all of the common english language anagrams that could be made for each combination, which is a MASSIVE number actually, somewhere around 2,270 possible word matches, not taking order of words into account.

For example, here is a table of the possible suffix, and letters that would be left to unscramble :

us yucanrinkjtsix
at yucnrinkjussix
cn yuarinkjustsix
nu yucarinkjstsix
tc yuanrinkjussix

So the next thing I am going to do, is put a page up with the possible word combinations, for example :

CAR SKINNY XI JUT
CAR IN SIXTY JUNK
CAR IN XI JUNK STY
CAR INN XI JUT SKY
CAR ISN'T XI JUNKY
CAR TIN SIX JUNKY

Etc.

My thought is there is something like CARTINSIXJUNKY DOT US scrambled.

So I need to narrow this massive 2,700+ item list into better hopefulls, i might put some kind of voting thing together or something.

Another thought that I may do is write a program that will make HTTP requests to possible domains to weed it down to only domains that exist. If anyone has a program that can do this very quickly, I can provide you with a list of possible matches.

Anyway, sorry so long, but thought this might be on the right track, or at least something I haven't seen explored yet.

Let me know if you guys think this could be on the right track!!

(email me if you have a program to help ping through the domains)

P.s. I believe the "X" in the number six is significant. (1) six seems like an unrelated number to the rest of the mystery so far, and (2) if you are going to anagram something, there are only so many ways to hide an "x" - I would imagine if I were building an anagram I would start with the X. My thought is first to narrow down most likely combinations of words for X, and use that list as a jumping off point. (such as SIXTY, SIX (duh), roman num XII, IX, etc)

Anyone try something with the "Lost" numbers (4,8,15,16,23,42)? That could be helpful... And for clarification, I'm pretty sure EthanHaas is an ARG for a tabletop RPG known as "Alpha Omega", or something of the like.

Hey, check out what I saw on Wikipedia... Old?

"It has recentley been hinted that the upcoming DVD release of "Waitress" starring long time friend of J.J. Abrams Keri Russell will include a hidden trailer in the form of a "Easter Egg" to be found within the movie's special features. Apperantly she she will have a quick uncredited cameo in the "Cloverfield" movie as "Pregnate Woman" the scene was filmed prior to giving birth to her son in New York City on June 9th 2007."

Another JJ monster, will it ever turn up as anything?

Is it just me or has JJ not yet revealed the monster from lost.. who is also shrouded in smoke and causes destruction...

I'm not getting my hopes up for anything other than a wild goose chase for awhile, but i hope its a fun one..
