Re: Anagram for Slusho Site
Thiking that the slusho site holds a key to another address

Hi Guys, I'm new to all things ARG, this trailer has just peaked my interest which as led me here.

Possible idea, the phrase "You cant drink just six" is always on the bottom of the slusho site, ver prominent.

I thought this could possibly be an anagram, my suspicions grew stronger after realizing "DOT" could be part of the letters.

I posted this twice already, but i'll tell you anyways. "you cant drink just six" can be deciphered as "A toxic Industry's Junk".

Don't have time to upload the cleaned up version of the new pic, but cleaning it up in bibble / photoshop reveals somethig very important.

There's a fireball, or something big & red, coming down from the top of the picture and begining to explode just behind the guy running on the far left.

The man behind him sees it coming, and has thrown up his hands to shield himself.

The two women in the foreground walk on, obvlivious to their fate. The thing in the middle-most woman's arm? a purse.

And unless I'm mistaken, there's another "bright spot" on her clothes as well.

Possible idea, the phrase "You cant drink just six" is always on the bottom of the slusho site, ver prominent.

I thought this could possibly be an anagram, my suspicions grew stronger after realizing "DOT" could be part of the letters.

The next step I took was to find out what the valid domain suffixes would be after taking the D,O,T out of the letters, I came up with the following valid suffixes : "ac,ai,an,ar,as,at,au,ca,ci,ck,cn,cr,cs,cu,cx,cy,in,int,ir,is,it,ki,kn,kr,ky,
na,nc,ni,nr,nt,nu,ru,sa,sc,si,sj,sk,sn,sr,st,su,sy,tc,tj,tk,tn,tr,ua,uk,us,uy,yt,yu "

Next, wanting to narrow down that list, I went to go daddy, to find out which domains you can purchase publicly (on a hunch that they would be registered there much like slusho). This narrows the possible domain list down to only : "us,at,cn,nu,tc"

Next, I mapped out all of the common english language anagrams that could be made for each combination, which is a MASSIVE number actually, somewhere around 2,270 possible word matches, not taking order of words into account.

For example, here is a table of the possible suffix, and letters that would be left to unscramble :

us yucanrinkjtsix
at yucnrinkjussix
cn yuarinkjustsix
nu yucarinkjstsix
tc yuanrinkjussix

So the next thing I am going to do, is put a page up with the possible word combinations, for example :

CAR SKINNY XI JUT
CAR IN SIXTY JUNK
CAR IN XI JUNK STY
CAR INN XI JUT SKY
CAR ISN'T XI JUNKY
CAR TIN SIX JUNKY

Etc.

My thought is there is something like CARTINSIXJUNKY DOT US scrambled.

So I need to narrow this massive 2,700+ item list into better hopefulls, i might put some kind of voting thing together or something.

Another thought that I may do is write a program that will make HTTP requests to possible domains to weed it down to only domains that exist. If anyone has a program that can do this very quickly, I can provide you with a list of possible matches.

Anyway, sorry so long, but thought this might be on the right track, or at least something I haven't seen explored yet.

Let me know if you guys think this could be on the right track!!

(email me if you have a program to help ping through the domains)

nateSPLATwebclarity.com

P.s. I believe the "X" in the number six is significant. (1) six seems like an unrelated number to the rest of the mystery so far, and (2) if you are going to anagram something, there are only so many ways to hide an "x" - I would imagine if I were building an anagram I would start with the X. My thought is first to narrow down most likely combinations of words for X, and use that list as a jumping off point. (such as SIXTY, SIX (duh), roman num XII, IX, etc)

wow, have fun wasting the next few days of your life.

isn't being here wasting a few days or weeks or months of our lives?

No worries, I'm a programmer, what you see above was just an hour or so of digging and scripting, but I wanted to put out the basics in case something jumped out at someone.

Seems like the best lead I've seen so far... /shrug/

The third picture pretty clearly references those images we saw the morning of 9/11 of the survivors walking back.

And we've pretty well determined that the explosion was at or near the site of the World Trade Center.

Well... think back to the creature in the hair from the first picture.

Does anyone remember the controversy surrounding this:

Shameless, shameless bump. I think this deserves a little attention.

I'm going to throw this out there for someone else to follow up on as they wish to.

Earlier today, on another site, someone discovered that on Anneke Skywalker's Myspace page, there's a comment from one Greg Baxter on June 15th, asking about Anneke's roommate walking into his office and asking if she was working on Slusho. Following that up, we end up with Greg Baxter's Myspace page:
http://www.myspace.com/gregbaxter
where he not only claims it was "His" trailer (from a visual effects perspective) but IMDB gives us a nice big ol' list of stuff he's worked on, including recent work done by visual effects studio www.handmadedigital.com which has done 2d/3d composite work before.

So there you have it, a visual effects producer acknowledging involvement in Slusho well before it was linked to cloverfield.

There's nothing really to follow up on, I think. They're people who worked on the movie. Or are working on the movie. We shouldn't be stalking them

Why? There's sort of an image in that girl's hair. They knew we would over analyze it, so it's probably intentional. Who know if it's supposed to be a real critter or not? It might be foreshadowing or just setting the tone. But chances are very good we are meant to see it, for whatever reason. This has nothing to do with real-world phenomena.

Hey, that's a pretty shitty thing to do. "Hi, I'm a total stranger! Would you perhaps like to compromise your morals and put your job at risk tot tell me stuff about a movie? Thanks!"

Good job.

Yeah, even I'm above that. However, I'm not above inciting other people taking action on my behalf, though.
