 		This is my post for random things I find in the blog! Tell me if you want me to add anything. (only reason it's posted now is as placeholder, i'm editing as i go.)

Post 1: Nothing particularly important, blue moon.

Post 2: Abused child?
Erica: Past girlfriend? Possibly important?

Post 3: Nothing particularly important. Chet bodybuilder boyfriend? Chez-Louis. someone Wanna look that up?

Post 4: Dream. Feather: Brown. Flying dream,m not uncommon. Eyeball globe? Flashing red-green-purple eye. Prophecy of stars finally mentioned.

Post 5: Desk job. Paper company!

Post 6: Seems like useless babble. iPhone, apple taking over the world.

Post 7: Swapped AIM screen names, we have his name, but not hers. Good day, he went with her to get coffee. deadpan thing?

Post 8: Go to work at the same time, 9:00, both used meebo.com to get in. Coincidence, not particularly important, another date at the diner for breakfast. convenient they have the same schedule.

Post 9: Dream #2! Gnarled tree. Covered in more feathers, then thunderous noise, and all the feathers fly away. then flying, falling, prophecy of stars again.

Post 10: Ooo, Meeting and kisssss.

Post 11: Funky. Sure, great, yay, date, but shouldn't the chronological order of ten and eleven be different? it doesn't make sense. Err, wait, maybe he was just explaining after his random post.

Post 12: Luckiest day! Officially dating, going to dinner. Pun about seeing orbs.

Post 13: Good dinner, almost invited her up, didn't. Hopes he doesn't have a dream.

Post 14: Mentions some stuff that he got from googling prophecy of the stars. one, a poem by some guy named John Miller, and the lyrics of a song by "In Age And Sadness," some indie band. Anyone want to find out exact details of these two things?

Post 15: They're going to the park, he used a line from hitch then felt bad about it, mentions Erica for i think the third time, and hitch for the 23432354th time.

Post 16: Ants! Fun! Tickling! Feather that makes Christine spaz! Wait, what?

Post 17: She denies the feather while they talk on AIM at work.

Post 18: Christine uses the word feather randomly, and frequently.

Just putting it here, cause it's where it was commented.

Post 20: She denies the phone call. according to comments, no dreams lately, though he probably would have blogged them.

Post 21: He talks about order of the phoenix. Comment: maybe trip to the zoo? : End comment. I agree with that.

Post 22: They talk about harry potter, he mentions prophecy of hte stars, she said she's never heard of it, he entertains the idea of a therapist.

Post 23: Boss is wierd, co-workers ignore him. He's going with christine to Harry potter again. this emphasis a clue? Also, another dream, only it's in a bowl of soup, and he says waiter, there's a feather in my soup, even though it's the wierd eyeball thing. Christine is in it.

Post 24: Another dream. He's missing something? Hang up phone calls end.

Post 25: Christine had a dream! hypodermic needles, web with faces, chet and gabriel WE ARE NOW LINKED TO THE GABRIEL LAWSON ARG. APPARENTLY, THEY ARE ONE AND THE SAME.

 		I work the registers at a hardware store and have managers with the mental capacity of soap dishes. So yes, I deal with assholes regularly. And I do recognize jokes, it's just that you didn't appear to be joking at all. So there wasn't exactly anything to recognize. Maybe if I knew you better I'd have realized it, but I really don't. In cases like that, it might be better to be too obvious you're joking, rather than not obvious enough.

 		Very easily, considering people have been reamed out quite seriously for smaller stuff. Especially on the internet. You may have felt it was obvious but it really wasn't.

I'm not really sure what that means. I make it a habit not to visit any of the "chans" from the horror stories I hear about many of them.

You should have taken people's reactions in this thread and the first warning you recieved as a clear sign you weren't so obvious and should have left your post alone after it had been edited by a moderator.

Hi Mcgritts and welcome Smile - that seems like the indie band that he referred to in one of his posts - Tregedy of Commons is the band and In Age and Sadness is the name of the EP? I'm wondering what him googling the logical thing for any of us to google would indicate? That currently it's a dead end and we need more info? Nicely teasing Wink

 		Yup, I saw that. Still no luck on trying to track down a blog for Christine. Either it's very well hidden or there isn't one. She hasn't been on AIM either, at least as far as I can tell.

EDIT: One thing that's bugging me is that when I said I would keep an eye out for Christine online, Colby didn't try to slip me her screen name somehow. As if he really did expect me to know it. Most of the time in situations like that, the PM will try and cleverly slip you the screen name so you know what to watch out for. I don't know why this would be any different. Probably nothing, but it just sort of bugs me.

 		That was bothering me, too. I think we're missing something.

What if the PM has not actually made the account yet? And so he knew you were saying you'd watch out, but couldn't do anything because the account wasn't made? Also, what if it still isn't done, which is why we haven't seen her yet?

But, that is very odd. -shiver-.

A similar thing happened in "Who is Benjamin Stove?"
Initial searches for the character returned no results but eventually the search engines were updated and a page was found.

 		A commenter by the name of Tee posted on the latest blog entry. When first checked, her profile was very small. I just checked again now and it's filled out immensely and includes an AIM screen name. I've added her, and will be IMing her if/when I see her online.

Yeah, it seems obvious now that he lifted the IMs from one of the "contact me" threads here : http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/index.php?f=8

Yet, I got the same impression you did. This guy is *completely* in character and doesn't give you anything to work with. Its almost like he's undercover and looking for someone to respond with the right keyphrase or something. The blog is just weird enough to be fishy, but there isn't any lead to another website, hidden code, or anything to work with.

What's weirder is there are no hits for this Christine online. There are no hits for Colby Shaw either. For someone who is supposedly in marketing, this is extremely odd. I quizzed him a bit on paper tech (I know a few people who work at mills) and he failed miserably. So we have two names, probably made up, and the only person involved is lying about working in paper. So all we know is this is really really weird. Bummer... yet, I'm intrigued.
