If you figure out why Mystery St is on the fridge twice I think that will help us.

You people who are anti-revelations theory, I understand. I didnt come up with it on my own, the damned internet led me all over this trail. I started searching mystery st and alpha kappa mu. Those seemed to be dead endss but THOSE searches are what led me to this whole thing in the first place.

Let one thing be clear, if not the Beast, then it is a monster movie (which I wont see most likely if thts the case)

Re: Anagram for Slusho Site
Thiking that the slusho site holds a key to another address

Hi Guys, I'm new to all things ARG, this trailer has just peaked my interest which as led me here.

Possible idea, the phrase "You cant drink just six" is always on the bottom of the slusho site, ver prominent.

I thought this could possibly be an anagram, my suspicions grew stronger after realizing "DOT" could be part of the letters.

(respectfully snipped)

Ran a script last night to do a DNS look up on all possible word combo's, (2,700) with each possible order of the words, which is about 300,000 domains.

Not one hit. So, I think it is pretty safe to say the "YOU CANT DRINK JUST SIX" is not an anagram for the next site address.

I havent don't random work combinations, to account for strange proper names, but don't think that will help and that would be too large to actually do.

Damn it. =(

Oh well, eliminating possibilities is one way to find a solution too I guess.

Wow thanks for doing that. I spent a little time playing with that and Bet You Can't Drink Just Six, but without access to the programs you have it was taking way too long.

Too bad it was a dead end, but it is nice to have it eliminated. =]

I personally think you've (Tkar) done a great job. You put a lot of effort into that and I thank you for it. I'm completely new to this so I'm just following other peoples leads and once in a while trying something out myself.

Anyways, on with the show.

YOu've gone too deep. There's not even light justification from what we've seen so far to go into any detailed numerology.

Remember how ARGs work, folks...obvious clues point to more obscure clues. The proponderance of numbers isn't a clue. It's a thing to keep in mind until a suitable filter can be found for those number.

It's like we have a puzzle and we've been grabbing everything that looks like a piece. None of the pieces are made to fit together obviously and there aren't any instructions. Until we get at least a glimpse of the top of the box, we have no idea how to assemble the pieces or even if the pieces we have all belong to the puzzle.

We need patience right now, not more excavating. I'll bet real money that the next clue that drives us forward will not come from pushing chunks of Assyrian through the Old Testament like play-dough through a pasta-maker.

Please listen to this person in that we all need to keep a light heart about this stuff. Maintain a sense of humor, understand that they really have given us no true trail to blaze through from this trailhead.

AKM is a national honor society. They were establishing Rob as a smart college guy. Until we receive more information to point to this as a clue, it is set dressing like many of the other leads we (and I, admittedly) have run down.

Guys, this is the voice of experience saying this. It's Friday the 13th, we can hope for something nice and overt to help us out. If not, however, we'll know the trail is hot when we get a photo on 1-18-08 with someone holding up a sign that says "JKKJSDI HAHAHA" or something. THEN we will see there is a puzzle and we need to solve it. ARGs do not start with analyzing the numerology of the bible based on a fraternity initiation paddle from the National Honor Society.

for a java chat applet you can run from a browser, without installing software (except for accepting the java installation) try
http://www.chat-solutions.org/chat/unfiction.html
That dumps you into #unfiction but you can say hello and /join another room -- which I haven't registered yet, we need a channel name!

If you don't have the latest version of java installed, this other link might work better for you, but it has older features
http://www.unfiction.com/chat
and it also has the instructions for connecting with your chat client software like mIRC or Trillian.

I believe I have also gone too far.

Facts about Tkar:

This is my first such leap into something of this nature.

I have read about 5000 posts on this topic and check up on every forum for the NEWEST info every day , and all day.

Many of the bloggers out there that I posted this in have taken it even further and its really gaining steam.

I never thought it was about revelations until someone said read Rev 18:8
(I had been reading 1:18 word 8 which is and lol)

I have seen every theory, every link, every whois, but have never seen an Abrams film/show/commercial in my life. Maybe a crutch, maybe a benefit, I don't know yet.

I barely posted on this and let others do all the work, but now as the trail goes cold, I simply posted my FINDINGs and not necessarily my opinion.

(If it were easier, I would have shown you all how I got from mystery st being in new orleans, and to alpha kappa mu having a chapter there. Aleph-Kaph-Mem was on a table that had our alpha, the anient greek one, and an ancient hebrew one - i thought I linked the chart but perhaps not.)

Dude, your first post was a knockout. Please understand that I'm not criticizing you for your enthusiasm nor for your research skills. They are considerable and will be really valuable assuming this is an ARG and it goes on a while longer.

I suppose what I'm saying to everyone, including myself, is...relax. The movie doesn't open for six months. It's likely that, if there are greater goodies in store, we're going to have six months-worth to play with. We'll need the energy, intellect, and insight all along the way. It won't do us good if we all go full-throttle right now and burn ourselves out. If this thing plays out like the monster it could be (Abrams is no dummy..he knows now to sow clues and hide mysteries and if he intends on giving us a full on ARG, it's going to be a humdinger) we'll need plenty of it.

Let's throttle back a little, keep ourselves aware and observant but not running near the red. Civilized hours on the message boards, maybe a little bit of kicking around the speculative hackey-sack on the theories thread and the trailers/pictures thead. Just kind of talking stuff through and seeing what seems really solid and what doesn't.

We'll get it, when it's ready to be gotten. Smile

My thoughts exactly.

All of a sudden I'm getting really hyped about the fact that it's Friday the 13th, and if this is indeed an ARG, we should expect something today...

PS: In my opinion, even if this was not initially intended to be a full ARG, JJA must be aware of this hysteria, and I find it hard to believe he would pass on the opportunity to capitalize on it (and have some fun in the process). It is very plausible that ARG elements are being put in to this campaign AS WE SPEAK... This could very well be an ARG in the making. In real time...

I honestly am no longer believing that the movie is going to come out on in January. It's far too soon for when they started filming this movie. They've got CG to do, and massive amounts of editing to do as well.

I'm leaning towards the movie being called 1-18-08. But again, it doesn't make sense to have this much hype for a movie, only to have it released AFTER 1-18-08. I mean, how often have you seen a huge monster-kill-people-death-slayer movie that has a specific date, but comes out AFTER? So who knows really.

But seriously, this whole "let's play the ARG," is kind of silly. The only reason why people have all of these crazy theories, and are looking for more ARG websites is because of it's previous connecting with Ethan Haas.

We know that there are other websites out there, but we don't necessarily know that it's going to be ARG. It could be just other sites set up to correlate with the characters in the movie, or hell, it COULD be ARG.

Yet again, Abrams said the the only site that we've found SO FAR is 1-18-08.com. He did imply there are other sites out there waiting to be discovered.

Think about it

Just think if all of us on this board put our heads together for something far more important than finding out about a movie. We could seriously find some very crucial and important things out there.

I remember the ARG that ended up as The Beast. There were several points where stuff had to be created or changed on the fly. A nimble team, who is aware that they're creating for an live audience will recognize that. Chances are, someone on the team knew about the great success of The Beast and did a little homework which led them to these very forums (Hi, Someone on the Team! How's about a bit of the Rosetta Stone so we know how to put the pieces together? Please?).

If they didn't know about the interest, they sure as heck do now. Abrams is no dummy, but finishing the film is a higher priority. I'll bet that as that comes closer to finishing, we'll see more activity here.
