That's something I didn't think about. I'm going to D/L and use the Slusho AIM icon when I get to my home computer and see what, if anything, happens over the next day or so.

did you IM them or even just look up their profile, cause if so then aol or AIM will automatically add them to your list and address book.


I use Pidgin, not the AIM client..I don't use AIM mail or anything either. It's a very odd thing.

EDIT: Maybe that's the whole point of this entire ARG! Maybe JJA wants to do something different, so the whole point of this ARG is that clues are vague, and can even hide in the torrent of OOG data we have... Just musing.

The icon on Slusho is just a jpg that you save to your computer and then identify as your icon...it's what you do if you are making your own icon for AIM. I doubt that pulling the jpg off of your own computer and using it on AIM is linking your account to anything Slusho related....just saying, but give it a try.

 		If that 9 is really hidden in the girls shirt like i have read then I realized that:

1+18+08 = 18. 1+8 = 9.

or

1+1+8+0+8 = 27. 2+7 = 9.

We have all seen the same scenes where people refer to 9 as 6 or 6 as 9 in these cheesy armageddon movies right?

While I am not ready to dismiss that AIM as a part of this (per the icon on Slusho) I think that username is just a fan. This morning they were logged in, and their away message said something about being a movie fan that made a poorly thought out AIM name. I think the guy or girl though it would be cute but suddenly got slammed with IMs last night.

Yeah yeah double post....

It's possible that it's a legit AIM name since I've been IMed by seemingly random people that are connected to an ARG. I suggest you IM them and ask them a few questions...it could be a gamejacker as well (someone pretending to be part of the ARG that isn't).

That video is from the LOST Experience...it's not connected to this ARG as far as we know. It had insight into the evil HANSO Organization and was creepy as hell at some points. That's mainly why I jumped onto this really early as I know that Abrams is really good with ARGs (but more extended reality/reality vaguely connected to something in RL).

The AIM thing - where is this buddy on your buddy list? is it under "recent buddies"? if so, there might have been a mass email or something at one point you were connected to? Recent buddies is the only place on IM where you do not need to approve buddies. If this is not the case, i'm afraid i'm a bit skeptic about your post.

oh yeah, no really, Now then, back to pretending to be a nice person...

I know how chat icons work. Wink

There's an obvious tracker on the download page site. It may well track if a person has uploaded something from that same page. That or they may just be keeping their eyes open for Slusho icons popping up anywhere. It doesn't hurt to have it there. It's not like it'd replace an icon that was important to me or anything.

read foucault's pendulum. you can make numbers do anything you want. if you look hard enough, you'll find numbers to justify whatever you are looking for.

same thing with the mind's predeliction for seeing faces in everyday objects. it's somewhat programmed into us.

there is so little to go on right now. if there's something for us to find, it wouldn't be this damned impossible.

I say a glimpse of the bottom of the 2004 ACE thing and it looked like 1182. could be 4482 but all i know is there is definatly an 8 and a 2

 		lol i just found the answer while playing hookie from work and watching tv..

Its the big budget movie version of the new pepto commercial with paul bunyan a giant robot and some other monsters destroying the city.

The explosion is just pauls heartburn getting out of control and the dude needs a slusho to cool it down. Im sure if you were a 50 foot monster with a bad case of the runs youd be pissed off at people too and tear up the city.

(obviuolsy im not serious just trying to cath up on like 50 pages since my last time reading and it just happened to come up on the screen and I had to laugh)

nasuea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea............
