The chat client sucks .. You should download a client like Mirc or icechat

well I guess I stired the pot again.... I think sometimes the truth wins out... I told Michael the truth again.... My mothers maiden name was Taylor I basicly told him the reason I backed him is because everyone in his resume looked a like.. and I think he is preying on a family.... the Taylor family..... my family is the taylor family...well on my moms side..... and I told him if the CM came after my family. I wouldn't be nearly so nice...lol

I don't undersand why the Taylors think their new tactic will change anything. I can understand their desire to move the situation forward, to resolve everything quickly and get Eric back, but I don't understand what makes them think they have any leverage at all in the situation. Michael posted a message on the FET forum and Mary released her video demanding proof that Eric is alive. Mary's video made it sound like there was some sort of unspoken "or else" in her demand..."Give us proof that Eric is alive (or else)", and my question is, or else what? What are they going do if the CM doesn't give them any proof? Call the police? They've already involved the feds in this and look how far it's gotten them. Are they going to stop looking for Eric? Not likely. Are they going to stop paying attention to the CM's videos? No, they'll continue to watch the videos because right now it's the only link they have to Eric or his kidnapper.

They're trying to appear as if they have leverage when they know they really don't. They have no leverage and nothing to bargain with. They want to feel like they're in control of some aspect of the situation, which is understandable because feeling powerless is never pleasant, but I have a feeling the CM doesn't really care whether they feel uncomfortable or not. In fact, I'm guessing he enjoys that aspect. Smile

The Taylors don't like that fact that this situation will only unfold at whatever pace the CM desires, but issuing vague threats isn't going to make him change his approach, especially not when he has a large audience like us in addition to the Taylors. He'll play this out exactly like he wants to and there isn't anything they can do to change that.

Well, Mary claims to have contacts at youtube and revver and any other site the cm has posted videos on and that they will "shut him down", which I assume she means getting the videos removed. What the hell is that going to do other than remove the one portal of contact she and her family have with Eric? That and annoy the CM, the one and only person that has control of Eric and whether he is released or not, whether he lives or dies. I agree. Majorly stupid.
