"Yoshida Corporation"... Name ring a bell, anyone??? As in Noriko Yoshida?!?

*EDIT* Company's been around since 1995, it seems... Site exists, wasn't staged, has no Google Analytics tracking on it...

Move along.

Yeah....I didn't really pay for my copy of XP, so I can't install the language packs. The best I could do is find images of Japanese character maps and try to find the proper symbols. Any out there with the language pack installed mind trying to figure it out?

You could try downloading a true type font. I did that in order to see the sanskrit for EWWW.

Yes - actually, I did! LOL! I was working on some PS analysis yesterday so I took a screen cap of it.

Incidentally - I found ZILCH! Mad

I did some researching a couple of days ago on Horse of Fury that led me to some crazy stuff - one of which was a old MST3K episode called Beginning of the End. Weird.

Has anyone translated the Japanese characters on the bottom of the Slusho! pages?

I was looking at a Hiragana alphabet, but I could only get like 4 of the characters figured out. The others weren't on there. Possibly conjunctions or proper nouns?

Early on, someone had translated it as "You can't drink just six".

Music notes & animals

It seems like the first letter of the animal names might correspond to musical notes on a scale? No C or E, though...

What, exactly, are the notes in the song, if you were to play them on a piano? I don't have a musical instrument handy, and haven't seen them posted anywhere.... might be helpful to have them out there.

Whale/fish:
F - fish
G - ganu

Donkey:
D - donkey
A - ass
H - horse

Duck:
D - duck
B - bird

Frog:
F-frog

The international code for the UK is +44. +81 is Japan.

Location: I hate you so much, oven mitt

I went to Publix today to get some sushi, and while leaving I passed their big dry ice freezer. What struck me is that they had a big thing that looked like an oven mitt to get the ice out.

Might be worth considering that a mitt like the one on the site can be used not only for things that are very hot, but things that are very cold as well.

E and C

If you go by descriptors:

E = Horse, Equine
C = Whale, Cetacean
A = Frog, Amphibian
D = Duck, Avian

Hee hee! Sorry, still crazy like last night.

Genetics, perhaps?

I know that nucleotides are given the letters A,C,T, and G.

For some reason, though, I vaguely recall the letter "E" appearing somewhere in genetics, too. I can't pull it out of my head, though.

Probably not relevant, but in the trailer they show a close up of sushi. This could just theming for the party since Rob is going to Japan, or it could be some type of hint.

They were blatantly clear about the Japan references. Like that Teri Hatcher looking girl screaming right in to the camera "He's going to Japan, people!"

And what else would the token Asian guy be eating?
