Without revealing all that I found in about 20 minutes (and there was enough, unbelieveably)... I know this person is in the insurance industry and has the capability of looking people up... ie real background checks, real credit histories, and all that. and he doesnt have to have a SS# to do that.... It makes me all very nervous (even more so) about leaving the mailing address that i did on NIRs blog.

Are you sure? I think he is only 18 from my snooping . I think if ARMC inc is doing background checks, you can give fake info for them to "look up."

Oops, sorry I missed that last post from Justing. That is strange that he is calling you out on not giving real info. I wonder if he is just doing this to see if you will blink? Like maybe add in a middle name or an initial and say that is your "official" name.

NEVER NEVER NEVER give out that kind of information.
I use fake names for any IG interaction. Then if I get something in the mail or a phone call asking for that name, I know it's a game.
If a PM is asking for that kind of information, that is inappropriate (IMHO).

If this has been one big scam to steal identity I'm gonna be royaly pissed. Im thinking the PM needs to do something quick to settle the natives, cuz we're getting restless.

Unfiction Community-
This is the PM of the Frank Sturgis game, and I am writing this because, unfortunately, the game has to end. I have recently had major personal problems and am unable to keep up with the rigorous work load of being sole PM of game. This decision was literally made about an hour ago, as I started designing a new site, and realized it just wasn't going to happen. I really wish the game could go on, but the game would have to be delayed and I decided it was unfair to the players. I have great (in my mind, anyways) puzzles left still yet, which will have to be shelved for future games, but I will certainly make a comeback. I had an excellent time in creating the game, and hope some of the community enjoyed playing it. If there are any lingering doubts or unresolved questions, feel free to post them or PM me and I can explain. However, consider the game officially done and ignore any future leads you might come to, as the next part of the game is largely up on the internet and I need to remove it.
Remsy Atassi, Puppetmaster
edit- I just read some of the last few pages and no, this was not a scam. I wasn't actually looking for real information on the resumes or full addresses on the blog (only cities.) The background check was all part of the game, as the mail in his box would indicate.

Well, thank you for posting, and not just stopping in the middle of the game.
It was fun while it lasted. So are you going to give us a "Story" ending to why it ends? Is NIR caught killed and dumped in the alley, while the CMRA goes on to rule the world?

I am new to all of this - this was my 2nd game I got involved in. Does this type of thing happen frequently? I spent alot of time on it.

Unfortunately it seems to be happening a lot lately. ARGs are getting pretty popular and a lot of people are trying to start them with limited resources and the success rate has been pretty low (from what I've seen).
