stuff
ramblings

I'm starting to think Slusho! is not "in" the film, per se, but the website is simply there to bring us clues. That is, I doubt slusho! itself or its bizarro history plays any role in the film, except that it's probably referred to in the film now and then as an inside joke for all of us who've gotten into this.

On the trailer; anyone here an expert on videography? I noticed that the film has that typical orange-cast to it, which is usually caused by not having the right filter for incandescent lighting and also by poor lighting generally. What I noticed, however, is that the three primary colors of light (red, blue, and green), particularly green, are rather vivid whenever they appear; they are also prominent at slusho.jp. Is this normal, or could the colors be highlighted for a reason? Also, one of the anagrams of Thunderous (a word repeated twice) is do turn hues. Granted, this may be nothing.

Nope. It's not.

I'm not going to stay on here and post a hundred things. No one single entity is keeping the rights to the movie now. I'm in radio...just got back from a convention...everyone there is saying that the secret can't be kept...the monster is gonna suck. They're testing out new marketing, and to push some games. That's it. Again, sorry. Good luck.

Oh, and you're looking too hard at the pictures...there's nothing there...nothing Photoshopped in...nothing hidden. They are, however, going to push the drink Slusho.

'night.

Goodness, all those lawyers for the company that holds the movie rights is going to be really surprised to hear that.

But, hey. You're the one in radio.

i forgot where i read it, but sumhow the game mindstorms is related, or a game by mindstorms, watever, and i remember goin to the site and seeing its description as "post apocolyptic" after the gods had a fight on earth, or watever. so im stickin with my norse mythology...

or perhaps this is a huge mind trick, an enders game type deal, where everytime we type in cloverfield, or slusho into search engines, it destroy's an alien planet!

So, about the whole SLUSHO! deal... it's a bit of a pointless question.... does it have other flavors? Or did they just decide to stick with the special ingredient??

I seriously think we are all getting our hopes up about this movie and this supposed ARG. First: This monster/s wont be anything special. In fact, I have a feeling that becuase of the films budget you'll never see exactly whats attacking the city. Becuase it would probably look like crap. Unless, of course, Neill Blomkamp was working on the picture. He does some of the best CG I have ever seen:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNReejO7Zu8&mode=related&search=

And second, I (and I'm sure I'm not alone) have gone practically insane trying to figure this bastard out. I've reached so far for clues I've pulled my arm out of the socket. There's only one conclusion that I can draw...this isnt an ARG !!!
I wish they would just come out and tell us so we can go on with our lives.

A) This is how most ARGs start. Slowly and with us grasping at air until they decide to release the next (real opening) step

B) How do you know the films budget?

C) Sit back, relax, and wait for the next clue to be released, that's what I'm doing and clearly I'm enjoying it more than you. I keep checking for updates and to see if anyone has found anything that could be a real lead but other than that I assume it hasn't started yet. It probably hasn't. Keep looking, but don't strain yourself yet...the real fun hasn't even started yet.

They aren't related. Everyone thought Ethan Haas, the ARG for the game was related to 1-18-08 and then we found out we were wrong. Read the thread for proof.

All that may well be the case.....but "nope...it's not" Godzilla. Not a remake or other show spawn. From more credible sources. That's it.

Sleep well.

I hope that was good for you. I hope that the absolute waste of time it was to write all that garbage and the minutes of our lives we killed reading somehow contributed to a good night's sleep.

Something, anything to justify that kind of stark, mindless, shameless spatter

Well, there are a couple of us that are holding out hope - Abrams has lied before, and it's possible he's lying now.

Another question about the Slusho! site - has anyone else noticed that everything that they say (well, almost everything) is in command form, rather than suggesting form??

wait...enders game really?

It just hit me, enders game apparently is being made to be released in 2008. I thought of something, i read the main books, not the side ones, and if i recall correctly, they only mention of an alien attack on earth, never really talk about it. Im guessing perhaps abrams is taking on this low budget (for a mainstream film) film as a pre-quel type deal for enders game. Perhaps its not a rescue crew or watever, but ppl finding "artifacts" of the first alien war, and seeing how it was, would make sense, since enders game comes out 2008, and this comes out bright and early, january. so it could eeasily set the pace for enders game.

Slusho Zoom
Yeah...

Yeah, I noticed that too. The most obvious of which was Slusho Zoom upon reading which I downloaded the wallpaper and zoomed in on the slusho logo... but I didn't see anything...

I noticed it first when I read "You can't drink just six." I was like, oh, okay... should be "bet you can't...." but then I noticed... "You will return soon!" and the most interesting one: "Slusho! happy, are you happy? Tell Slusho! Right now!" You think there's anything to that?
