Oh boy, I think I blew it. Esteed and I saw that bpittsgirlfriend jumped online. At first, I said that we should both leave her alone because, frankly, neither of us could think of anything to say. Esteed left and I started to get antsy, so here was my vain attempt at small talk.

Quick summary for those not keeping up or just jumping in:

- Our protagonist thus far is Colby Shaw. He works in marketing for a paper company in New Jersey. He's been having some weird dreams involving an eyeball floating around and feathers. He wakes up and screams "A Prophecy of the Stars!". His dreams lately have been telling him he's missing something. He's appearing online tonight with some news for us.

- Christine is Colby's new girlfriend. She used to date a dude by the name of Chet. He recently came by her place of employment (in New Jersey) and gave her a hard time. We don't know a whole lot else about Christine at this time.

- Chet is Christine's ex-boyfriend. He's a bodybuilder and has himself a new girlfriend name Angelica. He's been out of town lately on "vacation".

- Angelica is Chet's new girlfriend. She (and presumably Chet) live in Pennsylvannia. While her boyfriend is out of town, it seems she's cheating on him. At very least, she had dinner with a guy she can't keep her mind off of who is not Chet.

So we're left wondering :
-What do Colby's dream(s) mean?
-If Chet is on vacation, what was he doing in New Jersey harassing Christine? Why harass her at all if he's got a new girlfriend?
-Who is Angelica having dinner with if its not her boyfriend?
-Since they seem to leave hints in AIM profiles, it would imply that Chet and Christine still have a thing or had one till very recently. Could be that her and Colby's relationship had some overlap with her and Chet's. Chet seems to have done the dumping. What's that all about?

I've been lurking for a bit. I really like to see where this is going. Especially along the lines of this using AIM rather than websites (budget friendly and clever).

Has anyone thought of coming in contact with Chet? HE may be on vacation but may also be able to have access to a computer.

Not important at all, but i'm just noting, 'my boyfriend says i'm a star' doesn't necessarily mean chet, from recent evidence.
