it appears this ARG character also has a flikr account.

I post this so people see from hindsight how the clues were laid out, you had to go to his photo album for one of them. others were aquuired by reading his blog.

I still believe by finding a myspace page for one of the charaters of this project, or perhaps a name anagramed from clues will lead us to such a page, and will lead us to more information.

Something interesting was mentioned in one of the Slusho threads. Someone searched Ebay for Slusho and found someone selling a meteorite. I don't have teh direct link because Ebay is blocked at my work.
ANyway, the poster mentioned that one of the words mentioned on the Ebay listing was Vaca Muerta, which is a term used in meteorite study. But it is also spanish for Death Cow or Cow of Death. Could that also be a nod to Behemoth?

Er, that guy was also selling stuff with the name "Ethan" in it (as in Ethan Haas). He's just trying to get some sales by picking popular search words.

As someone mentioned, the seller is just using "SLUSHO" to boost sales. Vaca Muerta is actually a meteorite crash site. Someone else researched the word "eucrites," finding it an odd word. It's actually a type of meteorite. But it led them to eucrites.com, which is an odd domain- especially for a media company that has nothing to do with meteorites. I think it's a dead end, myself.

I AM intrigued, however, that the animals depicted in the sky on Slusho.jp are astronomical objects (not constellations) and that there is a telescope on the roof in the movie trailer (I lived in NYC- there are hardly any stars to be seen at night because the lights were so bright- a huge telescope like "Rob's" would be kind of useless there). Someone has probably already followed that to a dead end too. I AM reading these, just not always fast enough! Laughing

 		Not really a help with what's already up - but in preparation for further, likely fake sites popping up...

slushomovie.com was registered on july 10th 2007 and currently forwards to paper-street.com

slushothemovie.com was registered on july 7th 2007 and is currently just a parked page.

cloverfieldmovie.com was, however, registered back on 1st feb 2007 - it's currently completely blank and has no previous in the wayback machine. Possible place for the official movie site?

cloverfieldthemovie.com still free - not for long, i imagine.

Probably no real help, but worth watching out for?

folks in NYC use telescopes to watch their neighbors, not the stars... its been the plot of many a movie (comedy, suspense, etc) and its probably not unique to NYC

you can take any number combination and use it to pick chapter and verse, pick a book you like- revelations is always popular- and see if you can make something of its meaning- people who want to see bible connections have no trouble making them but I see nothing other than coincidence and circumstance that has lead the way to biblical quotations.

 		Not sure if anyone noticed this, or even if this would remotely help, but:

in the teaser, right before the the woman on the news speaks, on the wall, on a board beside the green one it says "AKM", then theres a map beside it.

Think any of this means anything????

While this is true (Rear Window), they don't usually do it from the roof with the thing pointed straight at the sky, and they don't need one that big- (unless they want to see their neighbors' blackheads or something)... It's easily a 10" or 12" 'scope!

I can also prove to you, mathematically, that 1+1=3. Or 1+1=5. Or 1+1=417. Or...

I'm not a fan of complex numerology. Anything can be made to equal anything else if you try hard enough. It's very easy to go from obvious to ludicrous.

That's why I'm fixed on "163", because it appears twice, reasonably obviously, without manipulation or complex mathematics. None of that "divisible by x" crap or anything.

I like to think that things have a logical flow in these matters. Dividing up two numbers and coming up with a third just because I feel like it is not the way to go.

Of course, maybe I'm wrong in this; this is my first ARG experience after all. You veterans out there: has semi-complex, convoluted mathematics been involved in the past?

The closest thing I've seen are the "Lost numbers", but in the places I've seen them used they've been used as-is. Again, maybe I'm wrong.

 		Having never fully ARG'd before... ( I dabbled in the Lost Experience, but got busy), do the PMs always plan everything out in advance? I mean I know from watching Lost ... they tell you they are going to do something and then they change it. It is possible that we are over looking sites, just because of the Whois data??? Who says this thing was planned well? Maybe something reg'd last week is legit??

I don't know.. just straws maybe... wishful thinking

Damn you, Abrams!!! At least tell us if we are in fact playing an ARG or just wasting our time!!!! LOL
