im no pro but i do sense some hostility coming from responses. No big deal like i said if it had been mentioned before then i appologize but it doesnt look like people are having any luck with the ideas already out there. new ideas only help they do not hurt.[/quote]

I am not usually an AIM person but with the apparent changing of the aim avatar on the downloads page of slusho (thank you for the tip off Jela) I open up AIM and added several possible names as buddies. Slushozoom worked and popped up right away and said "hello" and I have typed a couple of messages but not gotten any response in about 20 minutes. The profile is blank but it does say they have been online for the last 3 hours. I wonder if there are any other boards that are working on this and if they might have already been onto this possible lead and might be conversing with slushozoom (and hopefully confirming IG or OOG) is anyone aware of any other groups working this anywhere?

edit: among other buddy names I tried: ganu, satoshi, satoshi-san, slusho, noriko, etc... nothing but slushozoom worked... no idea if its legit, though, still no response going on 30 minutes but if other people have found this it might take a while to repsond to everyone...

Relax. I'm not commenting on you. I'm commenting on the fact that I've been banging my head on the keyboard trying to find any new information or connection or SOMETHING over the past couple of days. Plus, just trying to add alittle humor.

relax dud- if we didn;t rule things out we'd be chasing every idea and going crazy, getting game jacked, etc... if not to either confirm or debunk, why bring it up? or maybe abet game jacking- if its bogus its bogus-

edit: and its easy to perceive hostility, etc when we are in type without verbal clues- you have to learn to get over that- it is rarely personal unless you take it there...

Ok I realized this while posting it on the other thread..

But they altered the AIM Icon and they use AIM in the title exclusively...not everyone uses AIM. It could be a clue for the next clue


You know, we have been sending Satoshi e-mails... so maybe they are gathering e-mail addresses and are going to add us all to AIM and reach us that way?????

I don't know... didn't use AIM until today. It does let you import buddylist and address books from other programs... so in theory.. it should work ?.. I am not sure.. could be possible... maybe they are in cahoots with AOL?
