Probably been stated before, but no chapters in NY, although he could have gone to school anywhere.
The paddle doesn't look like it's the right colors, but might just be the lighting. According to the Wiki, official colors are Royal Blue and white. Also, how many honor societies go around handing out paddles that are generally part of hazing rituals? I suppose he could have just bought it at the bookstore.

Missing ASS?

Please forgive me if this has been covered, but nothing on this came up in search. In the AICN note to Knowles, there is a word missing. I believe it is significant.

Quote:
Regarding the online stuff you posted: yeah, we're doing some fun stuff on the web. But, obviously, if the movie doesn't kick some massive ASS, who gives a rat's about what's online? So as you can imagine, we're focusing mostly on THAT. For what it's worth, the only site of ours that people have even FOUND

The missing word I'm referring to is ass, which would come after "rat's". That is, he's telling us to find the missing ass. At slusho.jp, it's been noted that on the history page, what we've been assuming is a horse (and I am now inclined to believe is an ass, or donkey), thinks about a blue oven mitt and only comes round once, while the little fishy thinking of (swiss?) cheese repeats.

So...where did the ass go? Find the missing ass.

The ass is implied after using it just before that ("if the movie doesn't kick some massive ASS").
Also, people have decompiled the flash from the Slusho site and the horse is actually referred to as a donkey in the files.

Understood; yet the unusual use of the possessive in a separate sentence, to me, highlights the fact that "rat's" is again referring to an ass. I think that could be for emphasis. I also realize the past tense use of "FOUND" and the fact that AICN is also capilalized make this a tenuous suggestion. Anyway, I'll poke around and see if anything comes up.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone translated donkey, mitten, cheese and fish in to Japanese? Maybe they sound like something else when spoken.

Numbers don't match locations.

Neither of the contact numbers in the whois match the addresses. 310 area code is in Santa Monica, CA, not NY or VA. But even then it still makes sense cause its for a movie and there's no shortage of production offices in Santa Monica. Any they're probably using VoIP so location doesn't matter anyhow.

Please Bare With Me, lol.

Good Morning!

I am fairly new at this whole "ARG" thing but am very interested. I should let evryone know that I am far from "computer savvy", lol. Is it common practice to have to download a messenger service when playing an ARG?

One thing I have noticed is that when I am on the "history section" of http://slusho.jp/ , my mouse remains "active" when I move it from the donkey to the oven mitt, unlike the cheese above the fish. Do you think this means anything?

I can't help too much with the computer guru stuff, but I promise to look for anything that appears different. I tend to pay attention to small details, lol.

Thanks for your patience.

Oh, if anyone has downloaded AIM, maybe you can search for handles with "163" after them.

Unless of course the A is not an A but an upsidedown V which is the greek letter for Lambda, which would make it Lambda Kappa Mu, which is a girl's sorority. Do girl's use paddels?

If we're lucky!

OK, why are the children being hung by their kites on the Downloads page? We know they have arms that work by looking at the History page.

Someone must be an audio expert here, can anyone break down the layers to the Slusho! theme?

One thing i don't think is talked about is that in Japan the family name is written before the first name. And usualy people adress eachother (unless they are close, with the family or last name). Unsure if it has anything to do with anything but someone might think of something.

So Noriko Yoshida (if the name is written by Japaneese rules) would actually have the firstname Yoshida and the family name Noriko. Her son would be Noriko Ganu.
