See thats the weird thing, I havn't sent any e-mails to the SatoshiSPLATslusho.jp address in quite some time. The only thing that I have done that has been pro-active was I set up AIM and tried to instante message a few key names, because someone had mentioned how strange it was that there was specificly an AIM Icon on the downloads page, the AIM Icon could be a clue that there are some auto-reply AIM bots out there that would lead to more clues.

So after reaching a dead end with no responses from the key names that I tried to instante message I gave up. Then, all of a sudden I got this mail.

I do aggree that because of the gmail.com extension it lacks credibility of being unique, but it still kinda freaked me out. I don't know who could be pulling my leg here.

Can you post the header information from the email? That might give us some IPs and other info to dissect.

It doesn't seem real to me, and only for the fact that he said
"My mom"

just sounds weird. Like he should have said mother...
maybe it's just me, but I guess I feel the e-mail would be more proper and less personalized.

Also, the fact that "Interest" is misspelled in the header.

And the fact it's from slusho.freshSPLATgmail.com which isn't related to any site whatsoever. I could make an email slusho.zoomSPLATgmail.com and send emails to random ppl and put whatever name on there I wanted, doesn't make it any more legit.

I think you should be able to get all the information you need from the picture that I posted. I'm not sure whatelse you are refering to.

You owe me a new keyboard, as mine is now filled with Diet Dr. Pepper (which, amazingly, does taste more like regular Dr. Pepper!)

Strange E-Mail

Here is all the information I have on the E-Mail. I took another picture that shows all the details of the e-mail, but this is all the information that I know how to find on it. If anyone has any suggestions on what I could do to the e-mail to extract more information about its origion, please let me know.

In the SLUSHO! history, it also never said the Mother died, right? Only was lost at sea.
Another discrepancy from the e-mail.

You have to click that little down arrow next to 'reply' at the top in Ganu's message, then hit 'show original' and it's going to give you a lot of useful info that we can use to trace the message.

email discrepancy

@fishysticks
On page 2 of the history is says "Ganu also liked to experiment, but not with the beverage-making enterprise that killed his mother, but for science!"

I still don't trust the email, tho.
