Widow's Son, and what learning can be taken from it

Hi. I'm the Widow's Son PM and I thought I'd share.

For starters: I posted two of the files charting the brainstorming and order of execution for Widow's Son in this thread and another containing the contents of the LJ I kept while the game was going on, commenting on how it was going and specific aspects of play, here.

I have a lot of other source files from behind the curtain and I thought I might continue posting a few at a time as I sanatize them of personal information. (Figuring out who was behind the ARG was actually part of several of the puzzles, but that's one puzzle that I think I'll leave to be solved.)

I think, at the very least, "puppetsmaster.txt" -- the LJ I kept throughout the gameplay, could be instructive. I tended to update it more frequently when I was feeling frustrated, so please take that into account, but I think it gives a good picture of some of the pitfalls one runs into trying to run an ARG in the way in which I did.

Thanks Lucky Starr, it is most appreciated!
