 		by now it should be mandatory that if you don't read the timeline, or at least all pages of the thread you're posting a reply in, you will be IP-banned.

it would get rid of all the "omg slushozoom", "ethan haas", "flash ticky bug" posting in the near future.

 		I emailed satoshi and got spammed by three identical auto-replies during my lunch break - one email to them, three identical auto-replies (at 1:24 PM Pacific, 1:26 PM Pacific, and 1:30 PM Pacific) [that's 2 and then 4 minutes apart equalling six for you numbernuts].

A few minutes after that, I noticed that gmail is now down and is still down (can't access it, getting a 502, which I've never seen with gmail before).

I've since confirmed that everyone sitting around me can get into their gmails just fine. Odd. Well, we're relating interesting stories, so concentrate on my uberspam from Satoshi instead. Razz

 		Slusho! Download
just curious as to if anyone has had any luck downloading the Slusho icon and moving it to their AIM "Buddy icon". I have tried several times and keep getting the "file is too big" message". I know this has been posted before, I just want to know if anyone has been able to do it since then.

Maybe if it's too big, than there is something hidden in the code for the margin (i.e if the file needs to be 100 by 100 pixels, and it's 110 by 110, you have 100 extra pixels).

I'd do this myself, but I don't know how to search it... so I'm just putting it out there.

 		Well I don't want to sound like I'm making everything to be something, but don't you think their AIM icons are too big ? and the install guide even says slusho zoom! ... Though I tried to zoom in and out, and I havn't seen anything new or great.

But there has to be info right now on the 1-18-08 site thats hidden.. or just needs to be figured out.

Ok check this out, this is probably bullshit but interesting lol.

I opened the AIM image with notepad, its a bunch of bla bla, with no numbers, well there are a few numbers, and some letters with a O surrounding, spread through the whole text.

22, Ⓣ, Ⓨ, ➄, ㊁, ✡, ➇, Ⓡ, ⑤, ❾, and this a few times: ㈀㈀

When they say "too big", they're talking about file size and not pixel size. Apparently, the cutoff for icon files is a bit less than 14K and the Slusho icon is 16K.

Seems like poor form to change to an icon you can't actually use.

I think I agree here... because why title it an AIM Icon ( there are other IM, Boards and things that use avatars and icons) specifically and then have it not be the right size??

There is something to the AIM thing, there has to be... it just does make sense
