Last time I heard from Betty, she mentioned sending someone to "watch
your back" on this journey. She wouldn't tell me who, and said this
person wanted to be anonymous. Have you seen this person?
Meanwhile, I hope you guys are succeeding. My contact with the outside
world has been very limited so I don't know what is happening. I'm
still safe for you to have direct contact, at least until the end of
the week.
Love you bunches!
Stay Strong. We Are Sammeeeees.

Insane mentioned this might be the case as well. I hope you guys are right. We didn't see him today, although there was so much rain, he may have been around and we simply could not spot him. The trip is going well! We have received two messages. The first from Doctor Kinder, "Vale is the first word." And the second was a combination of disgusting breathing into my ear (Mister Abbott) and the word "Malis" twice. We should be at location three tomorrow. I hope you're doing okay on the Dark Side. Thank you for everything you guys are doing over there!!! I will write to you soon!
We cannot fail!!!
I'm still Happy

If you annagram these you do get
Quote:
onset pater and notes pater
this could mean a lot however you also get the following from the same letters
Quote:
neat poster, eon spatter
and my all time favorite
so it may mean nothing

RTESTOEANP must mean something (else it wouldn't be there).
"Mithras is only father" may be the clue to use "Pater", or, this may be a means of communication with Mithras INSIDE the sanctuary?
Pater Stone???
But I think this is for the Darksiders. We get in the Sanctuary, find the east nook and the Pater Stone, beg Mithras (the only fathers) by singing a sad song.
Eidolon has mentioned that damn goat song twice. And Dwin was singing it. That is how he opens the portal to get out! Singing his goat song (a sad memory of his childhood, right???).
Might be one more part to this from the last word we get from Tutu today.
WooT!!!

It's been a year, I'm not sure how well I'd do. He was tall-ish, with short dark hair.

http://valeisthefirstword.blogspot.com/ The names of the pieces in the vale picture puzzle come out to:
aeternum vale is the place to go next
http://aeternumvaleistheplacetogonext.blogspot.com/
Quote:
GO TO THE EAST NOOK AND REMEMBER ONE SAD SONG
STEP ONE
As the sun rises on the day you face this Eidolon,
every Sammeeeee must go to the far east nook of their room.
Remember the one sad song that always
makes you weep.
Sing this song to yourself.
Mithras will shine down and see
that the Sammeeeees come with an open heart.

[RESEARCH] Source of cartoon image on valeisthefirstword. for what it's worth A google image search of farewell king cartoon, brings up the original image used on http://valeisthefirstword.blogspot.com/
Quote:
The Impeachment of Andrew Johnson
Cartoon Title: "FAREWELL, A LONG FAREWELL, TO ALL MY GREATNESS!"
March 13, 1869, page 176
HarpWeek Commentary: This unsigned cartoon by Thomas Nast refers to Cardinal Wolsey's soliloquy in Shakespeare's "King Henry the VIII"(Act III, Scene 2).
Note the Dead Duck on Johnson's medallion. Nast used that as a symbol for Johnson after Johnson used the term to describe John W. Forney, a Philadelphia newspaper publisher he detested.
Another A. Johnson about to say goodbye.

sator/rotas image Could the image itself be "coded" or stegged?
I've been trying to compare the sator square on malismalis page with one from the web . It might just be artifacts, but, when magnified, there seems to be something along the bottom border. Can anyone run it through a destegg program?
(Top image is from malismalis, bottom one is from the web.)
eta: enaxor tried the destegg program and didn't find anything. Thanks for trying, nax.
We've been banging our collective heads on this malis puzzle in chat.

Methos is thankful because now in the source code of http://malismalis.blogspot.com/ is :
Mithras is great!
So, a knight in chess moves like the letter L.
Could it be there are two Ls in the solve, or maybe the two Ls ,one placed over the other, indicate a step?

If you move on the Sator square like a knight in chess starting at the O you come up with
which is latin for
dont know if this is the solve and I am happy to be trouted but as kona once said there is no such thing as a coincidence with Sammeeeees
EDIT: You can actually do this twice hence why twice is in the source code
