They added the "TM" the same day it was launched, most probably to ensure people don't immediately start marketing and profiting from it. Those two letters alone prevent anyone else from profiting using the site visuals.

I am pretty sure the "tm" didn't show up until a few days later
Reinforcing my oppinion that the game hasnt started yet and they are still manufacturing the rest of the peices.

The fact that he cut the trailer himself and that paramount didnt see it until it was ready for release should tell you that he wanted everything to be PERFECT. Meaning every snap shot, every angle, every clue. I dont think they are not ready, but I do think that the internets move faster than they expected with slusho.

The TM didnt pop up for a few days after I first saw slusho, indefinitely. Perhaps one of the still shots was to be the slusho shirt but we found it too fast lol.

/cheers for standstills

PS - were not at a standstill, becuz fortunately more and more people are hearing about this and digging in for themselves. And if we are TRULY at a standstill, then perhaps weve cracked it somewhere in this thread already Smile
But wouldnt someone have found the SLUSHO page earlier on and mentioned it on another fourm? Hell man There are nough Alias fans out there to search for it on a whim anyway. The BBC has the DR Who fictional websites up IRL! I bet if you searched for half of the BS products on TV there would be existing Websites for them.

What I meant by Not Ready ia if this team is the Sector-7 squad (I have 2 emails in their Annoyances and they added a line in assasinate him speak!!) they may have a countdown going between phases of the game. We might be working too much on something far too simple.

The Relevance of Pickles

At this point we're just reciprocating the same ideas over and over again, along with answering the same questions over and over. We're going to get sick of it soon; I don't plan on spending another week going over the same stuff waiting for the comicon appearance by JJ to give us the next crumb. If this is an ARG we're going to need something new, soon, or we're going to become so frustrated over this we're all going to go play with Ethan Haas and Van Mantra and forget about Cloverfield.

Earlier today I suggested just to put a new image on 1-18-08.com, something that wouldn't be a clue but would show that there's going to be at least some continual release of this. Like a jar of pickles. It could be taken the day before just to make sure the camera was working for the big party. An hour or so later, I had this ready:

At least when I photoshop stuff, it looks plausible. An update to the flash code would take 3 minutes, another 3 minutes to embed the image in another flash movie, 1 minute to upload the changes. An hour and change, and you'll keep your fans guessing at the relevance of pickles for a week, buying you your time to have something substantial to release at comicon.

Is that pic a screencap of the trailer, or do you just have 2 verry attractive mates? Twisted Evil

Unfortunately for us, that's also along the same lines of imagination of JJ Abrams.

It was posted in another thread but I think it's better to have it here so more see it. Sorry if it is alredy posted.

Slusho has a ftpserver running.

ftp://www.slusho.jp/

Someone just need to find the password. In the trailer?, hidden on www.1-18-08.com?

Slusho.jp is hosted on a shared box.
