Traxus?

I just finished watching the E3 halo 3 trailer again, and I noticed that many scenes featured the word "TRAXUS" in the background (on crates and buildings)

what is Traxus?
I did a quick search and all I know is that it has something to do with the Marathon series(yes, i'm a noob for not playing them, i know)

could someone fill me in?
also, is there any significance to this?

I believe this was already discussed... its an easter egg for the marathon series
