Yep. It's a UPS Store.

Right; which means that they're just using a mailbox at that location (and no way will UPS give up the contact info).

Yeah. I just meant that this is consistent with them being a company out of Ottawa that just needs a registration in Florida so it can do business there.

(Honestly, I suspect it's the ARG itself that's technically being run from Florida.)

I see no real reason why they should be registered in Florida to begin with, but I'm not party to all the business dealings going on in the company.

Also, registering a company a full week after starting your pseudo-marketing campaign is... well... a bad idea. I could have registered the name myself and they'd be up the creek, especially when they otherwise have no representation at all in the US.

I've mentioned in the past that no venture capitalist or investor would accept the way the company's doing this... unless the venture capitalist/investor himself thought of the idea. So, yes, I'm very convinced Thomas is the "puppetmaster", as you call him.

Anyway... Game on.

I found it in that book there... though it was like 2-3 years ago... he was the guy that predicted Lincoln's death... I am just having trouble finding anything about it online... so its hard to prove... the name Ethan Haas has been plaguing me since I heard it... I couldnt place it... so I asked the Civil War expert I knew... let me rifle through some more books and see what I can find.

Amazon seach

This is what my search of the book mentioned turned up on Amazon.com. According to amazon, it would seem that Ethan Haas was never mentioned in the book about Lincoln.

Did you LOOK at how few pages there are search from on Amazon? There are 714 pages to the actual text... And since Amazon and Google can only search the pages they have, you wont find it.

J.J. Abrams is so good at hiding clues and making people paranoid trying to find them.

Like in LOST, people will take the smallest thing like if they see it a palm tree in the background is slight bent in an 47* angle and pointing west it means that if you flip it backwards it becomes 74* and points east where the boat is!

I think the object is obviously larger than the statue of liberty. And has plans to destroy mankind.

There's another thread for Cloverfield.

One has to wonder how many of the "Guest" accounts here are really Mind Storm Labs employees, laughing at our obsession in some corporate boardroom.

OK OK.. I have to put a stop to this. Stop thinking this is linked to Mindstorm labs. Mindstorm labs has sent out actual press releases concerning their RPG to review sites, note I said review sites. I mean I am sure they thank you for your interest and bringing their product into the open, but they are not involved. They have a table reserved at GenCon for their game to debut. This is THE place for games to debut, and no doubt this one will. Please please do a little research and you will find that the little websites, the independent ones, are making announcements about this game. RPG.net, rpgnews.com, theopenpress.com all have announcements concerning this game and that would not happen if it were fake (yes there would be fake press releases, but any long time ARG player knows they get released into mainstream media, not independent game publishers). Please drop the mindstorm angle, you are grasping at Erik Haas shaped straws.

Before you try to put a stop to something, you should go back and read all of the research that establishes the connection between Ethan Haas and MSL.

For instance: We know that the original address in the EHWR domain registration links us to Tom McLaughlin. We know that the very same Tom McLaughlin is part of MSL. We know that both the EHWR and MSL websites use versions of the same ruined city street image.

Note that the argument (or, at least my argument) isn't that MSL is fake and in-game, but that EHWR is a promotion for the very real MSL and it's very real forthcoming game.

The key month for EHWR is August, hence the "return to the site on August 1". Alpha Omega premiers at GenCon during the third week of August.

Anyway, read what's been established and what's being argued before going off on anyone, please.

While there are a few people that think Mind Storm Labs is a front and not real- most of us I believe know that Mind Stom Labs IS real and has a real RPG tabel top game coming out very soon- that is the whole point- they are ramping up marketing for their game via a viral/ARG campaign. Yeesh- get a grip!

EDIT: Yeah- what Bix said!!!

When I do a whois search on this page http://www.6ld9102.com/ it says that there are 289 other sites hosted on this server. I can't access a list of other sites, can anyone else?

I don't know if it would give us more journal pages or not, but might be worth a try.

Supposing that letter is legit, the fact that the first letters on every row contains three 'w's kind of leaps out to me. A new url?
