I think the problem with the old one was that it wasn't compatible with AIM (re: too big).

So they probably did some black magic and shrunk it so it'd be usable as an AIM icon . . .

So . . . *shrug* might be important.

So has anyone seen jason?

At the point in the trailer when Rob's on the street, a few characters manage to disappear. Not everyone who was at the party could have gone up to the roof, because some would have stayed to watch TV, and it isn't like Slusho guy suggested going to the roof loud enough for the whole party to hear. We can assume that they're not Jason, since Rob's immediate concerns would be over people he saw on the roof just before the explosion, and away from people in the apartment for the time being. Plus, they probably got out of the building faster than Rob got off the roof, so even if Rob was thinking about people in the apartment his next thought would have been "Oh, they probably got out before I did."

So this leaves people who were on the roof that have the best chance of being Jason. We have Rob, who clearly isn't Jason; We have the camera guy, who clearly isn't Jason since Camera Guy is still holding the camera when Rob's asking about Jason. We have the guy wearing the mysterious pick striped shirt with the magical glowing circles on it, who is right next to Rob when he's running out. We have Mr. cool afro guy, who could just be some guy from another apartment, i don't see him anywheres in the party footage; and we have...Mr. Slusho Shirt, who is the last person we see go into the door to the stairwell as the "2004 ace" appears on screen after the second explosion. He's would have made it out before Rob, because camera guy falls over and Rob goes back to pick him back up. And since he's been seen feeding drinks to Rob we can assume he's a pretty close friend. I don't let strangers or even loose associates feed me drinks. Slusho Guy is dancing with our african american female lead (And by dancing with, I mean he's holding her hand while dancing with her), seen talking with Rob and our J.J. look-alike, and of course is the one who told camera guy they should go on the roof.

And what's even more strange, at about :44 in the trailer, just after the lights come back on, we see Slusho Guy moving away from the window and sliding past Rob rather quickly to get...somewhere...all of this leads me to believe that Slusho Guy is Jason, and that he's acting really wierd.

So, has anyone seen Jason?

i just dload it and tried to upload it and its still telling me it's too small...

That's a good catch.

If you recall, Girl 2 (the one who is so scared witless at the end of the trailer and hangs behind Rob and Girl 1) is at the window when Rob turns and does that worried hands through the hair move. As he's turning from the window to do that, she turns and bolts past him in a heck of a hurry.

slusho icon

I don't think the animation of the Slusho! icon means much since, for Mac's, it says to use iChat and icons aren't animated in iChat (at least not in mine).

I deleted the old pic and downloaded the new icon, only to receive the same "too big" message from AIM.

I didn't want to download AIM, because I do agree that it screws up the computer. As a matter of fact, after downloading AIM yesterday, I returned to my computer only to find a gazillion boxes opened from AIM...GRRR!!!

Now, with "Jason"...I'm not sure that is what Rob is actually saying. It sounds to me like, "Jasmine" or "Jensen".

While I'm here, I am curious as to who owns/rents the apartment that the party is being held in. There seems to be a lot of Oriental decor in it. Leads me to believe that this particular person has an interest in that culture or is Oriental him/herself. The AKM paddle on the wall may be college oriented. I did find an existing college called A.K.M. Oriental College on the web http://www.apsche.org/show_college.asp?collegeID=1174 I guess it is affiliated with Osmania University. And why is there graffiti on the apartment walls? That would bug the crap out of me if I lived there, lol.

With the "Slusho Zoom" bubble, maybe we are looking at that all wrong. "Zoom" might mean to speed up or excelerate (like growth) rather than "zoom" in with a camera lens.

Just some random thoughts...back to this crazy mystery, lol.

empire state building...

when they're in the roof the empire state building is seen and it's lit green... anyone have any ideas why or if its even relevant??

Am I the only one who hears "jettison?" I'm not sure Rob is saying this. I hear one of the girls say "Jason," but I hear the guy say "did anybody see it jettison" or "the jettison," perhaps wondering about the head of the SOL that the thing... well, "jettisons" at them.

I think the oriental decor is Rob's. I think he works for Slusho (which is why his buddy has the t-shirt, I dump that kind of stuff on my friends too) and is about to transfer to their Japan offices. Maybe he's an evil monster specialist. But that's neither here nor there, just my over-active imagination. Wink

ive listened to it over and over and im positive he says jason... what about our 11 dollar guy? i really get a strange vibe from the whole u owe me 11 dollars and best night of our life thing... idk...

try "trillian" its a free universal chat client works with all the im services. there is a pro version you can pay for, but you dont need to go there unless you really want too.

less bloat than aim.
