Now that you bring it up, is it me, or does this shot in the trailer seem to be more "clearer" than the preceding and following shots? It could just be something to do with streaming it off the web (I don't recall how it looked in the theaters). Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else noticed this.

Well, the camera is always in movement, therefor ALOT is blurred. But some parts are perfect clear because he holds the camera extremely still.

Now, 3 things you can pull out of that:

1. Nothing spectacular
2. messages in the sharp parts
3. messages in the blurry parts

Some ideas for people with more graphical expertise than I:

It seems to me that we should be able to get better images of the FRONT of Rob's fridge in 00:00:09 of the trailer. I don't have the expertise or the technology, but there's a clear shot of it right there.

In a frame in 00:00:14, there is a sudden flash of light that clearly illuminates most of the pictures that make up the "We'll Miss You Rob" sign. Maybe we can get some zooms? They even appear to be in focus.

I think it depends on if the camera and the people in front of the camera are moving.

For example, a couple or three evenings ago when I posted screencaps of Miss Switzerland Jacket, I had a devil of a time finding a decent frame where the letters weren't terribly blurred. But both she and the camera were in motion (whoever said that she was sort of casually sauntering along was wrong. She's moving just as quickly as anyone else in frame).

I think that's just the border between their haircuts, and the light shining through it

I would tend to agree with Irobeth.

This post got me thinking. What if the explosion wasn't from the monster, it was from the attack on the monster.

I dont know about you, but right now sitting on my computer I probably couldn't tell you what's hapening a few miles down the road, as far as I know there could be the army battling a monster. Now during a party with the music and ambient noise they might miss sounds of the firefight until a point in which the monster retaliates and causes the first roar/earthquake/power outage

The explosion could be coming from a large bomb such as a BLU-82. Of course if somebody dropped a big bomb on you, you'd be rather vocal as well.

i dont know, but there was a bunch of ethan hass walkthroughs on that page and that was all deleted too, so it looks like this site may be in game for the clues? if they are keeping it on track that way? perhaps as a focusing point? he had to know IMDB is the first place someone would look for the name of a movie that has no name or perhaps if someone believed they somehow missed the name

Are any of the pictures that make up the sign "WE'LL MISS YOU ROB!" significant, cuz they're all little pictures of ppl for those of you who haven't noticed. It took me a while to realize this lol.
