I think the samsung mobile website was found prematurely because if you go to the contest page:
https://uk.samsungmobile.com/promotion/halo3/win.jsp?MEMBERGBN=
It contains more of the same gibberish. Just means that Samsung might be having contests worldwide to build the hype for Halo 3.
I know I wouldn't mind winning some of that stuff.

Do you think that the root of Lorum Ipsum is significant? The site that doyle linked says it originally came from The Extremes of Good and Evil by cicero. That title sounds like a fair description of the conflict with the flood.

My gut still tells me this site was found prematurely, because if you go to the main page of the site there is no mention of this contest or about the Halo 3 ringtones.
It would also explain why in a previous post, a user with a Samsung phone was getting error messages.
Most companies (at least in North America) role out their promotions on a Thursday at midnight.
So let's say by 6am UK time on Friday, the text is still there, then maybe this is a clue for the game.

Here's an interesting snippet on the Forerunner:
Quote:
The Forerunners
Forerunner(s) is the translated Covenant name for an ancient race that the Covenant believe are God-like creatures who built the Halos for "true believers" to start the Great Journey. The Forerunner have seemingly disappeared with the Covenant believing that they've become Gods after activating the Halos and starting the Great Journey and the UNSC believing that they were killed off in a last ditch stand against the Flood.
They have left many artifacts throughout the Universe including the Halos where most of the Halo Universe story lines take place. These artifacts are our only means of finding information about the Forerunner.
I find that last line to be interesting... The site does contain glyphs that we're suppose to be following...

Interesting... that's a link to a mobile *video* download. Too bad it's UK only, though -- I'd like to take a look at it myself. Anybody across the pond have a decent phone that can download this footage?

I find this thread interesting, but 99.9% probably unrelated.

The five videos don't appear to have anything to do with the glyphs, it's the making of the Halo e3 trailer (06) video split in to five downloads, if anyones really interested I'll upload them when I get home tonight.
