[SPEC] First Post, New Picture & The Numbers Game

Hey.

Always wanted to get in on the ground floor with an ARG, just never had the time, nor one presented like this.

I haven't seen it posted here yet but the www.1-18-08.com website has been updated with an image of four figures caught in a very 911-esque smoke haze.

The new date stamp is 01/18/2008 12:48

I think if there is a trail to follow, it's in the numbers, and the images are a distraction.

Think about it: by this point the ARG community has become quite advanced; it would make sense for serious red herrings to start appearing to distract people.

The date stamps all correspond to very ominous passages in the bible; but again, this smacks of red herring.

I'm no mathematician, (in fact I failed mathematics in college) but I know if you add up the three dates so far, they equal '3685' which is a 'Nice Friedman Number'.

From the Wiki:

A Friedman number is an integer which, in a given base, is the result of an expression using all its own digits in combination with any of the four basic arithmetic operators (+, -, �, �) and sometimes exponentiation.

A nice Friedman number is a Friedman number where the digits in the expression can be arranged to be in the same order as in the number itself.

Like I said, no mathematician, but if someone is, and looks into the numbers on the photographs, I think it will lead toward the next website.
