To be honest we have 271 pages of stuff thats pretty much already been posted.

Just thought we need to emphasize this poster as not many people have caught on to it yet, plus you didn't mention about the difficult to see word on the left...

I've been struggling with the words too...

It looks as though it used to read "has this happened before", but then the first "has" has been blurred and a new one added so that it reads "this has happened before".

I have magnified the image and the "has" change seems to have been made on the poster, and not as part of the jpg image

 		Sorry to divert attention from this poster and the spectrum analysis letters, but I have an idea:

It's been said repeatedly that there is much emphasis on documentation in this movie. The focus on cameras, pictures, video, etc. is very apparent. 1-18-08 gave us pictures. Maybe we can get some video somewhere. Maybe youtube?
I tried a few searches, but I can't really think of anything, so I thought I'd tell you. Maybe you can think of something.

Youtube is a very safe site for IG material. You can sort the search results by date, and go back to early July (around 2 to 3 weeks ago) and bingo - you have videos posted before the trailer aired...

Possibly a dud lead, but maybe worth someone's attention.

 		That movie poster looks like a fake ...
One of the posters at AICN (July 20th at 6:50:53 AM) identified the other movie posters as movies that came out in 2004. The one on the left is "The Eye 2" (came out in March 2004), the third poster from the left is "Hellboy" (came out in April 2004), and the poster on the right is "One Missed Call" (January 2004). The Hellboy poster has a 2 PhotoShopped in. I don't know what the other movie poster is for, but I would bet that it also came out in 2004 and has had the 1-18-08 stuff PhotoShopped in.

Thoughts?

At the very least, i'm dubious about the uneven nature of the 1-18-08 font at the bottom of the poster, along with the darkness around the 'has' above the 'this happened before' line.

It looks doctored to me.

i'd agree that it looks fishy. the only dude facing towards the camera kinda looks like rob, but there isn't anything recognizable in the poster to conclude anything. if it were a clue, then there would need to actually be something we could see, and nearly everything in the poster is just fuzzy. looks more like minority report of vanilla sky, or some other pile of cruise shit that came out about then...he was the only person visable in the poster, although there were other people around.

It isnt uncommon for a previous poster to be re-used and modified as an "announcement" I have also seen posters for older movies up in cinemas where they show "Modern Classics" on screen 3/
