Name a movie that is better than the book..

One I've mentioned before: The English Patient.

Don't get me wrong. The book is fantastic (not that the movie is as great as the reputation in garnered) but the book is very difficult to follow.

Another I would vote for as it is possibly my favorite movie because it is so beautiful:

The Black Stallion

I have nothing at this moment, so someone can post something, if they wish.

Well done Citizen Kane, go watch the old trailer, it's pretty awesome in itself. And man, it had the voices of people like Leonard Nimoy and Orson Welles. I mean Orson Welles, how awesome is that?!?

Damn straight. They went for broke on that movie, and poor old Rodimus Prime got the short end of the stick afterwards, hehe.

Now, let's see if we can start a trend with another animated film...

It's been forever since I've seen it but it looks like the orb in Heavy Metal.
I've thought of that one many times but always assumed we'd already used it.
EDIT: I'm sure that's the Loc-Nar.

Damn, Rogi, you got it. And here I was hoping to post a few more screenies.

And nope, we haven't used it yet.

WTF is THAT?! Shocked

Googling "large, freaky, frog-like robot with bulging red eyes" didn't exactly turn up any useful results...
