LOL, I was doing the exact same thing and I came to the same conclusion. Also watch him when they get on the roof agreeing with the comment, "Looks like you shoulda left earlier" (paraphrased). If i heard a roar like that I would probably be in a corner crying, calling 911, or trying to find a gun. Not joking around like that. (Note: pay close attention to Rob's face after the comment is made)

Yeah, I too noticed he was looking a bit suspicious, or a bit like his suspicions had been confirmed. Like he knew this was going to happen, and then it did. Or he was told by something that this was going to happen, he didn't believe him, and then it did happen.

Nice idea about the camera. It's possible. However, when they are asking people to talk about Rob, it's the same voice. So shrugs. Great idea though.

As for Rob knowing something. Originally I thought the same thing. But then I started thinking, big mistake right. If you knew something BIG and terrible was coming, would you go to the roof? Or would you get the heck out of the city? This is NYC, traffic is going to be horrible. Why would you wait around?

I figure if he knows anything, it isn't much.

I don't think rob will have anything to do with the story, for a hero at that because in the trailer when he's with the girl you can obviously tell he's surprised and shocked then runs away not even caring about the girl.

if you notice at the end of the trailer, rob pushes the girl out of the way BEFORE the liberty head is even in view.

most likely an honest mistake. just thought id mention it.

could just be a slight continuity error but yeah that did seem a bit odd, considering it's nightime and the head come through the smoke further down broadway so in theory they shouldn't be able to see it until it comes past the woolworth building.
rob just doesn't seem that animated about the whole thing except when he's moving his two lady friends out the way.

Gotta be a continuity error, even if Rob had advance warning of the attack he wouldnt have advance warning of the monster specificly throwing the head of SOL into NYC. Unless a) Rob has super hero-like vision, or b) he has some kind of spooky telepathic connection to the monster and did infact know the head was flying his way. Both are implausable at this point due to the lack of info.

I'd be stockpiling food inside a bunker in Nebraska.
