Forbidden Planet?

I'm pretty sure I'm wrong, and maybe, subconsciously I'm guessing that as an excuse to tell you all that our music teacher in 8th grade made us watch that movie...to this day I have no idea how it related to the class. Maybe it was for a unit entitled "the History of the Theremin." And i was too bored to care.

This last one is a lol image. Why is that actor just standing there with no shirt? Did he get an inoculation? Pose for a still life? I give up. Very funny picture though.

Maybe he thought the different gravitational pull on this new planet would make his chest muscles look better and he wanted to show his captain when the dame in the hefty garbage bag dress walked in.

Hehe...maybe we should start a new game using movie stills....the guess what was going on this scene game.

this one feels so familiar, but in that "it was so bad it was good" trashy movie way. The low budget set screams cheese! The non-rectangular doorway is like visual code for "not on earth", and seems shaped solely for the purpose of allowing the "not from earth" space babe to get thru with that wide dress. Leftbrained suggested that maybe the alien race is all pear-shaped. As for the scene, I think the man without the shirt is going to teach the space babe about "this thing you humans call a kiss?"

You're all so very right along with being so humerous.
Here's another one that should provide good fodder for spec.
And a clue: The title of this movie closely resembles another title we've seen recently.

I'm an idiot.
Tibiazak got it.
I don't know how I skipped over that post.

Does anyone else think that guy on the right looks like David Carradine?

EDIT: Nevermind.

Looks like Nausicaä of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds.

correct. i figured it'd either go quickly, or this would be an anime barren forum, and it'd take forever. so congratulations, now i'll have to start thinking about other movies that i can use should i ever get one right. the picture posting is now on your shoulders EGo.
