Interesting stuff from that. A quick check on google shows that it's in the constellation of Cassiopeia (wikipedia has a few articles on it, but I went to the greek mythology link first) ... apparently Poseidon had Cetus kill her (I'm paraphrasing quickly because I'm about to leave work).Cetus is greek for Whale.

Did Poseidon give Cetus Slusho before the kill? Possibly.

yes, i know that the timeline on this forum has the pix on the dates you report in your post. however, the dates differ depending upon the forum you're in. others, at another forum, report the dates i have given (hence the conditional clause, since i know that your guys' chronology is different).

the thing about the 8 days is, if it is part of a patterned sequence (and not, as you suggest, a clue in itself to something else, like a combination sequence or something), it doesn't make sense with respect to the first numbers. 3 and 6? you would expect 9 or 12. but not 8. in fact, with all of the 163 madness, and the divisible-by-three-ness of most of the numeric combinations, 8 is just weird.

i'm not trying to defend my account at all, since a fact is a fact and if the pix did pop up on 7/3 and 7/6, then that's just the way it is.

anyway. here's hoping pic 5 is more illuminating than pic 4.

 		Okay, I'm begining to not like the seperate threads thing, cause when an idea seems to weave all these elements together you look like a jerk for cross posting. anyway now that I got that disclaimer out of the way.
i'll try to keep this post more specific to this thread:

About the military guy. You guys are assuming the military's first clue to this THING, is the SOL head flying through New York, and are claiming that they are early because of it--what if that is not the case?

what if they had already been tracking this thing? it may have just hit New York, from rob's (friend's) POV but was already being followed or tracked by the military.

For arguments sake, lets just say they realized it was following the old (ship) route to America or New York, (or perhaps the delivery route of its alien caviar babies slusho ingredient) or just were able to decypher the trajectory of said beast and made the call ahead to the coast guard, national guard and whoever to be ready in New York? would this satisfy those of your who say the army is way too early?

backtrack--the thing in his hand is clearly a military assault rifle, not an alien head.

The leveled out version of the pic revels a sort of metallic tag above the breast of the female with the strange hat. I would have thought she might be a bicycle patrol officer, the uniform and ball cap thing seem to go in that direction, but those caps say NYPD in very prominant reflective white letters on the top, hers does not.

Our EMTs here in New York City do not wear head gear as part of thier uniform. we do have private EMTs, and those that work directly for the city, the letters FDNY is displayed on thier red and white Ambulances
and several private companies that are attached to the major hospitals,
they ride around in the general assigned area of those hospitals, and have the names and logo of said hospitals, displayed on thier vehicles.

She does not seem to be any of that. in fact if i had to guess, I'd say she is one of those bishes that sprays perfume (hint hint, sephora) in your face when you walk into the mall.

Posted this elsewhere but...

Ok,

Going to throw some stuff out there that may have already been discussed.

Inside the apt, during the trailer, there is a paddle with AKM written on it in large letters.

AKM can stand for Alpha Kappa Mu....a fraternity, or honor society started in 1937. Same year lovecraft died, so maybe going back to cthulu.

Further, black SUV outside of the party when the statue head falls, clearly see the licesne plate reading ABZ 3293. Haven't found anything with those, but it is so clear in the trailer it seems suspicious.

Wondering if anyone has done anything with those.

 		well what about an ip address of sorts 12.32.63.96 (not sure where the .96 comes from) belongs to a man by the name of Dave Crosby affiliated with Wikihow and posted a message about someone infringing on the conduct rules on wikihow on december 18 of 2006. Im new to this so im not sure if this means anything at all but it might.

I've been playing around with my own IP address theory based on the different time stamps in the posted pictures at 1-18-08.com. I've tried 01.12.36.63 as well. It hasn't been exhaustive by any means, but I haven't had any luck so far. But I also am not the most tech savvy person out there, so I may have missed something really obvious. Also been trying the same numbers as geographical coordinates with limited success.

 		Down on the street.
I noticed a few things.

What's up with the man in the Tuxedo? He's definitely a character actor I've seen before. They make sure they get a clear shot of him, he almost pauses for the camera. He look a little out of place too at 1:25.

What's in the guy's mouth at 1:30? Toy vampire teeth? A ping pong?

Finally, the SoL head is definitely "thrown" from within the smoke cloud, and upwards to hit the building. It's been carried to Manhattan.

 		Someone in the bazillion page post said that there was a robot head coming out of the water on the "cereal box" that is seen at 00:29 in the trailer.. didn't see that, but I got grabs, and flipped one to 45 degrees right and it looks like something swimming.. anyone wanna take a stab at this?

It looks like two people in a rice field to me... it's just packaging.

There's an asian aspect to the apartment, and he is moving to Japan and at least one of his friends is asian.

two people in some huh what?? I don't even SEE people... hold on lemme get my glasses... lol.. I still don't see people...

**oh and I have Asian friends too, but I don't have Asian rice crackers in my apartment.. I don't think they were for the party because they were tucked away on the microwave and not out with the party stuff...**

The only real brands that have seen spotted so far, are Hennessey and The X-Box.. the Slusho shirt took us to the slusho site, so maybe this is something for the game...
