Raham correction Sorry to double post, the first time I went to the site it went through the loading phase and then went right to "Coming Soon"...I right-clicked and hit Play and saw a little demo for a pseudo-resume...doesn't look relevant to me.

Yeah, I don't think it is.
That was the more obvious "ghost word" of all those pages. Considering what it led to, I doubt any image on pages is actually important. Heck, the pages may not even be clues at all. Anyone have any luck with the site addresses?

FWIW, I believe the first unknown word in the second paragraph of Schedar is "that". The writer tends to continue the last stroke of a word to cross his 't' in several instances in this entry and in others. The unknown word is on the lower left of this image; the other examples are from the same journal entry. The word "light" is the only known word ending in a 't' here, but while it's somewhat narrower, it has the same basic characteristic. That 'swoosh' is only used in the letters to cross 't's.
"The ring turned round me and I saw that beneath [x] the surface were many rings, balls of fire...."
The second unknown word I now believe to be a scrivener's error--just a mistake of the pen. Any word that might fit there would have to be a preposition (in, on, etc...), so I don't think it's significant even if there were supposed to be a word there.

The two URLs they've set up but haven't yet pulled the trigger on?
One begins with "u" and ends with "w". The other begins with "k" and ends with "8".
Someone here do me a favor and quote this in a post. When this turns out to be correct, someone out there will just accuse me of going back here and editing the post where I said this to make it match up.
So I need it to appear in someone else's post(s) as well. Heh.

They've made two sites before they are ready to be utilized -- I know this because they currently show the same journal page instead of two different ones.
I've posted the image of the one that's there.

*edit* Just read the other thread. Still have the nagging feeling we're missing something. The others and you have been pretty thorough though.

Honestly, that question is, in fact, driving me bonkers.
(Not you asking it. The fact that I have the same question.)

I really think those obscured block letters in Schedar must be something, perhaps something we're supposed to have figured out by now. It's far too blatantly THERE to just be an accident or an artifact of how they made the images.
I just don't know what else to do beyond what we've already tried to do in order to figure out what the hell it says. I've even tried making Schedar and Caph translucent and overlaying them together, since traces of the block letters appear on Caph too. It didn't seem to help.

Hey guys. Ever looked if something was hidden in the jpgs?
http://camouflage.unfiction.com/
I didn't try it myself yet. Just a possibility.
But i tried renaming the jpgs to .zip and .rar:

But there was nothing.

I ran them all through stegdetect, which reported negative.
(Although I haven't ever done much of that, so that by no means should be heard as me saying not to bother, heh.)

Yes, the world of steganography is quiet big.

Letters hidden in journal pages I see an R and an A in Schedar, but I don't see how this can help us because we aren't supposed to have that file yet! Bix, have you tried the other URL to make sure it is still showing Schedar?

Schedar we got last week. It's Ruchbah we're not supposed to have yet.

oops! I guess I'm confused. I really think I've been staring at these pages for too long. Is it the R and the A that you are seeing in Scheddar?

Generally, people are seeing an RA and then to the right an AN. The mystery is what's in between, and whether it's one letter or two.
(FYI, there's an off-chance that I just found something steg'd into Ruchbah, or stegdetect gave me a false positive. But it's the only one of the four jpgs I have which gave a positive.)

I would be really surprised if "steg" was something necessary to complete this thing. Mainly because, up to now, I'd never heard of it before, and I'm sure others haven't either.
