Re: Sorry about that
Edit

I wasn't trying to restart a religious debate in this thread.

This is a pretty closed-minded comment.

I'm not putting down a "huge amount of the world's art", I said I won't see this movie if it's about some biblical armageddon, and you got all butt-sore like I said the ceiling of the Sistine chapel was shit and should be painted over.

Do you really think this movie will suffer without my $10 if I decide not to see it?

Close-minded? Intolerant? Pot-Kettle-black, man.

Hey guys, sorry about the bilical reference. I really didn't mean to offend anyone.

Let me get one thing straight, I am NOT christian, and nor am I trying to turn this into a biblical thing. It's just the first thing that popped in my head as I have studied many religions.

I understand my post is far out there and it may be completely bogus.

But I DO believe there is a message hidden in the slusho text. Smile

cheers

Dude, you didn't offend me. I was just making a point that maybe you should've read the entire thread. It took me three days to get through it, but I still did it. Smile Furthermore, the religious beliefs of people on this board shouldn't matter, that's why I'm not stating mine. I said your theory was wildly supported and unlikely because I don't see how you came to that conclusion.

Wow... thanks to a few people, a fun thread has turned into garbage.

Always someone out there to stand on a soap box and become self important regardless of the situation. I was having a good time reading this thread but now it has become tedious and simply in bad taste.

Oh well, guess I'll try other sites until the same people infiltrate those places.

So sensitive.

Need a kleenex?

I take it all back. A giant demon wreaking havoc on my city would be FABULOUS!

I still thing the MONSTROUS creature could be inspired by Lovecraft.

Ok, that's enough... back to playing nice here folks. I suggest we go back to the discussion at hand.

And dlcc, it's really rather blunt to barge in here and basically tell us you're not interested in what we all wrote here before, but you do expect us to seriously discuss your own views... if 75 pages is too much for you, there's always the [search] function. Use it before posting, it makes your life easier...

donkeyThoughts...
website...

I've tried reading all 75 pages, but my brain is turning to mush and so I may have missed where someone mentioned this already - nothing came up in a search, so, my apologies if I went brain dead and missed it...

Has anyone tried http://donkeythoughts.slusho.com/ ? I didn't see any mention of it and was just fiddling around with urls here at work to see if something came up on a whim. There doesn't seem to be anything there right now, but this is obviously something that's spawning off of the Slusho site officially... maybe this will mean something to someone poking around in code.

Otherwise, maybe its just something to look out for?

Slusho Anagram and ABZ 3293

After reading a bunch of interesting tihngs and conspiracy of this film I got to looking.

At ABZ 3293.com it is said that someone is missing a item that could be considered an heirloom. I later went to slusho.jp and saw the donkey and the fish pop-ups with the oven mit and the cheese. I did a anagram search for "oven mit cheese" and one of the anagrams was "Chosen Eve Item." now if thats not a coincidence I don't know what is. Now the question to answer on ABZ3293 is who or how slusho's items connect to who took them and who that could be!

Interesting theory. While I agree with fdfdfgfhghgjj, I'm not so sure about gesfegtty or yumhmmghsfh. You might be grasping at straws there.

I'd really like a Cthulhu movie, but as a previous poster said, Cloverfield (of maybe we should start calling it "Monstrous"? Very Happy ) seems too "in your face" for Cthulhu. The Slusho history page, however, has definite Lovecraftian elements (I didn't come up with that, by the way).

The idea of a conjoined consciousness seems likely, given the strange history section. Everyone becoming a whale like Ganu suggests some sort of mutagenic compound, perhaps spread by the monster?

It seems very much like the Flood from the popular video game series Halo, but that already has its own ARG (Iris), sooo... Laughing

It would be very cool (if entirely confusing) if this turned out to be the Halo (1) movie. But then again, that's supposed to be directed by the guy who did Lord of the Rings. Yeah, I'm a nerd. So what.

Actually, I was under the impression that it was to be produced by Peter Jackson, but directed by Niel Blowkamp (spelling?).

Of course, Halo isn't a monster movie, so that would be quite far-fetched.

True. That's what I get for quoting from a random conversation I had about a year ago. Oh well. THAT's why I won't put links up until I KNOW they're related and haven't already been posted, because I misremember stuff ALL the time. Grrrr...

As much as the "propaganda" comment shows a ham-handed attempt to make what I think is a non-offensive point, I kind of side with Ecks on this one.

I'm a Christian and I wouldn't see this movie if it's some sort of Biblical end of times flick. That has little to do with my faith and everything to do with abject boredom in the subject because that particular subject has been done to death. If we're going to do end of the world, let's do something relatively original, yes?

Yeah, a biblical Apocalypse movie would be a little much, but I think it would be for anyone with a Christian background. It would hit a little too close to home, especially if it's meant to be based around the present time instead of "the future" in all it's mystical "not here yet" glory. I don't want to think about Revelations coming true next winter. I'd probably freak out.
